>Indian Chief of Defense Staff Gen. Anil Chauhan on jet losses:
>Uh, I think what is important is not the jet being downed, but why they were being downed.
>Why they were downed?
>The good part is we understood the tactical mistake, remedied it, rectified it, and flew all our jets again after two days, targeting at long range.
Rafales getting shot down by PL-15s has been confirmed by India

so, a quick recap of the jeet argument:
>Jeets: our jets were shot down because they're inferior French merde!
>Frogs: oh really? are you sure it's not because of your maintenance?
>Godsdamn right I am!
>okay. then I'm sending a team over to check your jets for faults
>...NO YOU MAY NOT REDEEM
>but since you say you maintained the jets properly, then we might have built some faults in the jets, so if we could just check on that
>NO SAARS YOU MAY NOT anyway it's not the jet it's the tactics

I'm surprised Pakistan managed to do as well as it did. I'd assume their military was just another third world Muslim military that relied more on supposedly superior willpower and resilience than on technology and training.

Meanwhile, Indian media is still posting articles and videos about how India "exposed" Chinese and Turkish weapons. And how nobody is buying Turkish weapons anymore, even though they weren't even a major factor in the war. Pajeets literally live in a parallel reality.

I love Times Of India.
The jeetglish is so bombastic, it's a fine example of how not to write.

>Instead, the attack ended in HUMILIATING defeat.
Indian Air Defence officers confirmed that 300-400 Turkish drones, including Byker YIHA III kamikaze drones and Turkish-origin micro-drones like Songatri and eYatri, were neutralized in mid-air before they could even SCRATCH Indian defenses.
>A Pakistani source told Reuters that Turkish drones were meant to provide cover for manned aircraft and artillery strikes, but "the drones failed to reach targets" as India's integrated air defenses, from legacy L70 guns to cutting-edge Akashteer radars, KICKED IN.
>Michael Rubin, an analyst at the American Enterprise Institute, MINCED NO WORDS:

>"It didn't ROAR OR FLASH - it listened, calculated and struck with precision," an official told PTI. "Every threat was intercepted, every target neutralised."
>This level of precision is NO FLUKE.
>Indian officers compared Akashteer's performance to Israel's Iron Dome, noting that while Iron Dome specializes in missile defense, Akashteer has shown exceptional versatility against low-flying drones and loitering munitions.

Paki here, it was pretty mediocre before 1971, but after the humiliating loss, they realized that we had to get our act together or we would be conquered and divided. So more American advisors came in to train and restructure in the way they thought best. We are still using the American tactics and doctrines of the 70s, but so far it has worked.
It doesn't matter anymore, though. We'll be a Chinese colony in a decade or two.

There's no way Pakistan used hundreds of drones though. There would be a lot of footage of skies lit up, or images of a lot more broken drones on the ground. Pakistan probably used several dozen drones. Definitely under a hundred.
As for Michael Rubin, you only need to Google his name to look up his articles. He's a professional grifter and is actually more delusional than the average Indian. Literally nothing goes his way, but he writes for a dozen pro-Israel think tanks and websites at the same time. They don't even care how ridiculous he always sounds.

contentwise I'm not following the jeet wars at all because nothing either side says is at all trustworthy, so we literally don't know what happened and probably never will.

one funny point that struck me however is how they try to find some way to praise the Akashteer for being inferior and namedrop Iron Dome as if it means anything

You don't understand, timmy ratpoop
Our army is superior because to our faith in Allah and the prayers and phull sappot of the Muslim world

It is Allah that guides our missiles onto enemy targets and strike fear into enemy hearts

It is also Allah that deflects kufr missiles away from our bases

Allah also guides Rotherham pussy into the arms of Muslims

With faith in Allah, even defeat can turn into victory. Every humiliation can turn into glory.

Every war dead becomes a martyr and wins his 72 virgins in jannah, which is a victory far superior to any worldly victory

Indeed, Allah is the best war planner.

>The Indian company, Hindustan Aeronautics, is the biggest trading partner of the Russian arms agency Rosoboronexport.
>In its statement, Hindustan Aeronautics said that the parts were used for helicopters operated in India.
>Shipping records showed that, in some instances, within days of receiving the British equipment, it shipped parts to Russia with the same identifying product codes. Those codes relate to specific types of equipment, such as radar technology, but can cover a number of parts. H.R. Smith said that meant the codes could not be used to connect its parts to those sold by the Indian company.
>Hindustan Aeronautics is identifiable in public records as a supplier to the Russian military but is not under financial sanctions, so British companies are allowed to sell to it.

>Reporters tracked over 700 individual cargoes — with an estimated value of more than $50 million — from the premises of western companies to India and then onto airlines and firms in Russia, between January 2023 and September 2024. Items unloaded there ranged from critical generators, sensors, propeller blades and cockpit displays to small screws, bolts and filters.
>More than 40 per cent of the cargoes sent to Russian companies, long reliant on foreign-made parts, appear to have initially come from the US, and one third came from European airports.
>A recent US court case shows how India has become an increasingly important route for Russian companies seeking to access restricted items.

>Within the trade data analysed by Investigate Europe, more than 200 items were labelled with customs codes flagged on a joint G7 list of so-called Common High Priority goods, described by authorities as critical to “Russian military systems” or having been found on the battlefield in Ukraine. The parts included navigation equipment, generators, radars and an array of small mechanical elements.

>Russia has been secretly acquiring sensitive goods in India and explored building facilities in the country to secure components for its war effort, according to Russian state correspondence seen by the Financial Times.
>Moscow’s industry and trade ministry, which oversees defence production to support Vladimir Putin’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, drew up confidential plans in October 2022 to spend about Rs82bn ($1bn at the time) on securing critical electronics through channels hidden from western governments.
>The plan, revealed in letters to a shadowy trade promotion body with strong links to the Russian security services, aimed to use “significant reserves” of rupees amassed by Russian banks from booming oil sales to India. It saw India as an alternative market to source crucial goods “previously supplied from unfriendly countries”.
>The correspondence shows how Russia turned to New Delhi, even as Narendra Modi brought the world’s most populous country closer than ever into the US orbit. During a state visit to Washington last year Modi signed a series of Indo-American co-operation agreements in areas ranging from advanced jet engines to artificial intelligence.
>The Kremlin has admitted difficulties in repatriating Russia’s oil profits because of US sanctions and currency restrictions. Russian groups have used rupees to trade gold and purchase goods to evade the sanctions, according to people involved in the trade and western officials.

>The Russian central government official involved in the leaked correspondence, Alexander Gaponov, is deputy head of the ministry’s “radio-electronics” division. It is an area of particular sensitivity because Russia is reliant on foreign-produced electronics for use in missiles, drones and electronic warfare.
>Gaponov in October 2022 asked an opaque Moscow-based organisation with ties to Russian security services—the Consortium for Foreign Economic Activity and International Interstate Cooperation in Industry—to present plans for acquiring critical components from India.
>Vadim Poida, the consortium’s president, replied that it had developed “specific plans” with the Russian electronics industry and “representatives of the relevant Indian state and private businesses” that had “high potential” for making use of the Kremlin’s rupees.
>Poida outlined a five-stage plan to help Russia spend its rupees and establish a steady supply of dual-use components. Russia would set up a “closed payment system between Russian and Indian companies” beyond the oversight of western countries, “including by using digital financial assets”, Poida wrote.
>Additional funds could be spent on backing joint ventures in India for electronics factories needed “to meet the needs of Russian critical information infrastructure”.
>Customs filings also reveal specific items that potentially match the project’s activities. Innovio Ventures, an Indian company, was listed in trade declarations as the supplier of at least $4.9mn of electronic equipment, including drones, to Russia as well as $600,000 of goods shipped to Kyrgyzstan. The transactions were listed in Russian filings as settled in rupees.
>The shipments to Russia include $568,000 of electronic equipment for use in radio-electronic systems to a Russian company called Testkomplekt, which has been hit by US and EU sanctions for being at the heart of Moscow’s military procurement system.

I'm not Christian, so I don't care that much. And their socio-cultural collapse started centuries ago. It's also a completely separate discussion from nation states.

>contentwise I'm not following the jeet wars at all because nothing either side says is at all trustworthy, so we literally don't know what happened and probably never will.
I think we do have a good idea of what happened desu.
India decided the time and places to launch the attack, so they did indeed a hit a bunch of airbases, mosques and madrasahs but labelled them "terrorist training camps". It's possible or likely the airbases were struck later when Pakistan started responding militarily.

Pakistan was largely on the defensive and they downed at leeast 5 Indian jets. At least one was a Rafale and one was a Mirage 2000, and multiple Russian jets. In the midst and aftermath of all this, there were shellings and kamikaze drones fired from both sides.

Then came India's mass boycott of Turkey (and Azerbaijan) with the state banning or stripping contracts from Turkish companies left and right. Indians started chimping out about anyone that expressed support for Pakistan. However, Pakistanis haven't really reacted that way towards Poland, France or Russia who's arms India used.

I'm guessing when they recast Apu's VA in the Simpsons. No idea if the new guy is any good or they curbed the jokes around the character, I haven't watched the Simpsons in years.

Yeah, I didn't really think good or bad of Indians myself, just saw em as people
Seems they wanted to get some of that integration with the progressive stack instead
It's pretty crazy to be honest because I genuinely don't think Indians got treated badly before this shit blew up (and before the oligarchs, rightwingers and neoliberals forced society onto a collision course with them for the sake of extracting more wealth from our economy)
I might laugh about the jokes every now and then but my hate remains firmly reserved for these kleptocratic subhumans at the top
Rest in piss UHC CEO, here's to that faggot from palantir or one of the other more prominent ghouls getting their comeuppance next.

Ah, you are actually right, Panaji seems to have the best human development index city in India and its population is half cathos. And yes, nagaland actually looks quite nice and clean having 80 percent baptists, although they are having the classic fertility issues common to the west, but I guess that's the price of having a decent education and development.

I always read the comments on Indian news sites whenever there's a big international event. They're more ziggerish than the most diahard Russian nationalists. A bigger turdie than a butthurt African marxist. Anyone who thinks the West can ever have any sort of alliance with India has no idea what Indians think t. I've lived there for many years.

I've been to every mainland Indian state. The only one that's TRULY clean is Mizoram. Also any place in the Northwest that's all muslim or Buddhist is clean e.g. Kashmir Valley and Ladakh, any place with Hindus is a shithole and this applies universally across India. Goa is clean by Indian standards but it's still a trashheap compared to most of the world, wouldn't say more Catholic areas are cleaner than others.

...also domestic Indian tourism has really taken off especially after covid so tourists are shitting up all the formerly clean-ish places e.g. Goa and in the mountains. Mizoram is legally off limits to jeets which is why it's so conspicuously clean (they need a special permit/reason to enter the state, you won't see any brown people there).

I suspect the current incarnation of Spectra has the same issue as most old-school EW suites: it's very vulnerable to TWS.
Due to TWS not using a dedicated targeting illuminator, the suite only reports generic radar emissions (and possibly return radiance, if it has that feature). Problem is, due to modern datalinking, you can have a distant emitter (AWACS), closer receivers (fighters in passive mode), and a missile flying completely silent (with datalinked guidance from the previous) until circa 6-7 km away (when it activates its own targeting radar), at which point it's too late to dodge it (not least because it's travelling at Mach 3.5+).
The only way to break this chain is with dedicated Wild Weasel jammers, putting out so much electronic noise that it overwhelms comms. Problem is, as anybody who played Highfleet can attest, this makes the jammers into utmost priority targets for literally everybody on the enemy side.
