I get they have no camo, but is that your only gripe? The soldiers in the movie are from Sweden and set in 2031, it is possible such a conscript heavy army goes back to solid green.

They may also equip forces going to Britain differently, since you do not need camouflage against the infected, if tours primarily revolve around the island, standard equipment might change.

no that's bs, generally 99% of people are not able to tell if a uniform is "accurate" so filmmakers/costume department don't bother to make it perfect.

Its a technical thing most people don't know about, so there no point in investing time in details. Take pianos for example, in the vast majority of shows the keys people press don't correlate with the sound you hear, but only a tiny of fraction of people will both notice and give a shit, so there's no point in the actor learning to play. As far as most people are concerned, green army man in tac vest with some greebles is enough, there is no consideration for whether the greebles make sense.

>Which movies/shows do it right and which ones have it done it the worse?
>because the director didnt care (this is often the default explanation)
>they have bigger things to worry about (you could use a CGI tiger tank in your WW2 movie, and it would look ugly as sin, or you can mock up a T-34 and let internet nerds seethe at the wrong number of wheels)
>actual movie making takes precedence over accuracy (movies are all about getting the perfect visual shot, and if that means going against reality for a moment, what does it matter?)
>its just not worth the effort (scenes are rarely filmed in a single long unbroken sequence, the oner is always a major setpiece for a reason, and will be re-ordered, cut, or edited, or even played backwards)
>the budget (sometimes you need to prioritize something over something else, and appeasing rivet counters is a low one)

batman had a vision of the future where darkseid took over the world with the help of superman
superman was able to be turned evil because lois lane dies, or something
batman is given a vision of this future by the flash, travelling back in time, to convince him to change it

it is really, really out of place and adds nothing to the story

Holy kek this is clown shit
Even if they had a nonexistent budget and had to source everything from airsoft retailers, they still could have made more realistic kit for less. Also, giving everyone two flashlights and handguns/holsters does not seem like a wise use of your limited film budget.

Because guns are OP and make literally every martial art useless. They empower even the most physically weak individual with lethal physical force. But guns are bad mm'kay and not heroic, so they cannot be portrayed in a useful or positive light so screenwriters must invent the most ridiculous and absurd choreography to disguise this fact.

Because props are very expensive, so there's a strong preference to using generic props and hiring them from a prop store.
viewers rarely notice or care, I don't care. might notice momentarily and have a chuckle at the dress ups but it doesn't other me, they are the actors, we are the soldiers.

I used to try to find zombie books with accurate gun writing but frankly its boring. The writers just shove in as much gun related trivia bullshit that it makes me go "just shut the fuck up and write a good character instead"
i listened to a book that mentioned a glock having a safety you could toggle and i was so glad the writer just didnt check instead of going into how the character chambered a round from the magazine into the receiver and the casing ejected when fired and the slide flew back and blah blah blah

For me it's the opening scene, all of that gunshot and no one spurts blood at all? It just so painfully fake. That 60's movie tier bullshit as even 80's action b-movies were filled with blood. Then you have the godawful final battle where no one use their guns. What was Nolan thinking? The noticeable quality drop from the dark knight to the dark knight rises is too jarring even to this day.
