>The FC-31 aircraft "will begin arriving within months", the official said recently, while also confirming that PAF pilots are in China undergoing training to fly the aircraft. The official did not disclose any terms of the deal, including the date it was signed.

>In May another Pakistan government official told Janes that the procured FC-31 will be equipped with China's PL-17 air-to-air missile (AAM), which has a range of about 400 km.

Curious decision of China to be so quick to sell an aircraft to Pakistan that they themselves have barely even induced, including China's trump-card that is the PL-17 VLRAAM.

Something's up in the Indian Subcontinent.

This has been well known for a while.
India has been a long time disruptor in the BRICS, always voting against everything China and Russia decides on and blocking the entry of countries like Iran and Venezuela into the group.

Nowadays, even Russia is as fed up with India as China is, since no amount of money from the Indians will make good the political damage India is causing to the BRICS, which would become a much useful group for Russia if they would align more to their geostrategic policies.

India entering the US alliance sounds nice until you realize that the same arrogant incompetence that made India an unlikable member in BRICS will be now on the side of the US, aka a black hole for investments and a source of endless scams and brown immigration.

India will be forced to choose SU-57E from Russia.

Fat chance for the US to sell F-35s to India only to have them shot down and have their reputation tarnished beyond repair, or even fall into the hands of China after Pakistan salvages a wreck.

Pakistan is literally a military dictatorship, aka Kemalist because its people are too backwards islamic and not capable of unified political action if not for the rule of a western trained military.

Many muslim countries used to be like this, starting with Turkey that arose from the ashes of the Ottoman Empire by the rebellion of young western trained military officers. The phenomena of "arabs losing wars" only applies to muslim countries that are incomplete in their Kemalist transformation.

What in the schizo rambling is this shit?? Pakistan isn't Kemalist and never has been. Arabs losing wars has nothing to do with the rest of the Muslim World.

Majority of Arabs lived under secular militarist dictatorships during the 20th century, and many still do. Those regimes still weren't shit at warfare. It was Non-Arab Muslims that had to save Arab Muslims during the High to Late Middle Ages. It's still non-Arab powers including Turkey and Iran that has to save them today.

They dont need to be Kemalist in name, but in spirit they are. How else would you explain female J-10 pilots without Burqa sitting in the same briefing room as their clean shaven male counterparts who dont look anything like being muslims. This wasnt even the case in Ba'athist Iraq under Saddam or Libya. Pakistan performs well militarily because their military is ultra secular and never attribute their victories to Allah.

It's the entrie military system being based on scientific thinking and not on some revolutionary (islamic revolutionary) parallel system. Also, what helps is that Pakistan's military is loyal to itself and its institutions, not loyal to a certain dictator like Saddam, Gadaffi or the Mullahs. This is literally Kemalism.

Pretty much every post colonial third world country used to have a history like that for at least a while.

Even China and Japan had a short phase when their imperial dynasties were either toppled or deeply reformed by western trained officer corps (Xinhai Revolution, Meiji Restoration), who dragged the country screaming and kicking into modernity. Only in case of many islamic countries, this wasnt just a phase but became their state foundation.

Pakistan's military only cares about itself but it also uses the veneer of Islam. Kemalism is institutionalism with Turk nationalism. Pakistan isn't even Turkic.

Kemalists come in democratic and non-democratic forms, and even religious-friendly and anti-religious forms. Adnan Menderes is arguably the one most responsible for Ataturk's pervasive cult of personality and he was both democratic and religious-friendly. The AKP's coalition partner MHP mixes Turk nationalism with Islamic symbolism while still being largely secular-leaning and not theocratic.
Most Kemalists today are anti-junta, including most of the anti-religious ones, that's why Turkish parties unanimously opposed the 2016 military coup attempt.

* Pakistan was founded by religious grifters, so its junta continues in that tradition. It's not explicitly secular nor explicitly Islamist, but it does explicitly use Islamic language and sloguns. Arbitrarily calling it Kemalist is just as retarded as calling it Baathist or Juche or whatever.

>>63787885
Partly but not exactly. Pakistan was primarily founded by a group of Western-educated secular liberals and moderates who espoused non-denominational Islam as a political grift to get power and create a state of their own. They included Nizari Ismaili Shia, Tayyibi Ismaili Shia, Twelver Shia, Ahmedis (Qadianis) and Sunnis.

They didn't care that the borders made no sense, nor did they care that Sunni Muslim religious centers were located in North India, or that the earliest [Sunni] Muslim communities east of the Indus River were in South India, nor did they care that a large chunk of the Muslim population in Republic of India would realistically never emigrate or be able to emigrate to East Pakistan (Bangladesh) and West Pakistan, nor did they care about abandoning the Rohingya in Myanmar.

They aren't announcing it because they don't want to draw too much attention to their beef with India. BRICS and all that.

Pakistan will 100% get the J-35 eventually, it's just a question of when they will get it, how much will it cost, how many will China sell to them, how much freedom will China give them to operate the J-35 on their own terms and if the export model of the J-35 will be downgraded in some way.

In 1962, Nehru screamed to JFK to send him B-47s to stop the Chinese invasion.

Today, the US now has the opportunity - some would say obligation - to give the Jeets its full sappot. The US must immediately launch the equivalent of Operation Nickel Grass and make up the Indian Air Force's losses with the latest F-35s that will enable penetration cum blast of Porkistani airspace.

The US owes India for past betrayals like 1971. China is backing Pakistan, it's time for America to do the same for its newest greatest ally

No RD-93 has this shock-cone during afterburn.

Gonna do the Malaysian move..Firstly announced and buying Russian Sukhoi and showing the sign the move from American sphere towards Russian. American military industrial complex will be scared shitless and lobbying the Congress to be allowed to sell some American fighters (Choices are F/A-18D or F variant) with cheaper price to attract the government back to American/NATO sphere of influence.

To be clear, Malaysia did this not because he is a genius but rather out of spite when the US Congress blocked Malaysia's request to buy the Hornet, & bought the Mig29 instead. Contrary to what people say, Malaysia bought russian and american aircraft out of necessity, not simply because of shit and giggles. For years malaysia had been denied access to more modern aircraft because the US is playing favorites with singapore, philippines and thailand. At one point they just said "fuck this" and went to the russian instead. America putting both Indonesia and Pakistan under military sanction really spooked Malaysian decisionmaker hence why they're willing to buy russian made equipment which is generally cheaper and russia is willing to accept almost anything as payment.

>Malaysia wanted more F/A-18
>Malaysia looking for second hand USN/USMC F/A-18
>Uncle Sam said no. Instead offered up F/A-18F
>Malaysia tempted to buy F/A-18F but didn't want to surrender their existing F/A-18D as part of buyback option
>Deal went dead
>Suddenly US came back and "hinted" that they may export F-35 for Malaysia if they could permanently stationed their F-15/F-16 in Malaysia because reasons.
>Malaysia said "take that F-35 of yours and shove it up your ass" subtly

Til now American suffering loses because Malaysian opened the market gate for Russian and European arms sales on SE Asia and destroying the American arms sales monopoly.
