Dream weapon
If you could have any weapon, what would it be?

Not based on any tactical or practical application, price, rarity, or resale value. The only thing that matters is that you just like it bros. For me its the FG42.

I've never been very interested in the Webley but I'm in the same boat of wanting a new double action top break revolver. It's weird to me that they haven't existed on the commercial market for almost 50 years now, but eventually someone has to actually sell them, right? Even the AW Webley was only ever a Shot Show tease, or at best, was only sold to a few predetermined buyers.

I think this has been asked on previous threads.
One thing: the 93Rs currently circulating on the transferable market, are conversions or 're-manufactures' (can't remember the detailed story or dude who makes them) IOW, they are not "real" 93Rs
So really there's no way to directly replicate a 93R, which have only been sold ever to mil / contractors and some police LE agencies

Saw a guy at the range with the .357 one of these who bought it for $700 a decade ago. Seller was some grumpy boomer, "it's broken and the cylinder won't turn, i've had it for years. Guess I got a lemon." He completely disassembled it at home, found a burr on the internal cylinder pin, and carefully removed it. Functioned flawlessly afterwards and instantly skyrocketed in value kek.

An updated Lemat carbine. Make it a closed-top frame for strength and optics mounting options. Chamber it in modern cartridges. Make the shotgun barrel load like an M203 so it works with normal size shells. Offer it in two frame sizes, the smaller in .327 Federal Mag or .357 Maximum with a 20ga shotgun barrel, the larger in .445 Supermag or .460 S&W with 12ga.

It's a boring answer but the WA2000 is still my dream weapon. I wish it was less unique then it ended up being, and that style had caught on more. Yeah it's rare, was expensive to make, and even more expensive after dying, but I really like the mix of old and new in a neat package. If it was $1000 and made by the millions I'd absolutely own one.

Mateba MTR-8. .38 special race gun for some Euro target discipline. They supposedly had a whole series of MTRs in a variety of calibers but the only examples I've ever seen are that handgun and picrel, the carbine version in the same caliber, which usually has a stock but is missing in this pic. I've seen old ads showing .22LR, .357 Magnum, and other models though I don't think those were ever made as I've never seen an example or even a photo of one.
Anonymous No.63817199 [Report]

This ad shows various models in the MTR series, but again the only one I have ever seen even pics of is the MTR-8. I don't think they ever made an -8M, or any of the others, though I would love to be proven wrong about that.

Right now I have a real hankering for a TPH, but if I had my druthers for a 'dream gun' it would be:
>size and form factor of a Walther TPH or Ruger LCP
>all steel slide and frame
>DA/SA with safety decocker
>doublestack .25 or .32 ACP magazine with 10-12 rounds + 1 in the chamber
>slim and lowprofile fiber optic 3-dot sights
>Hogue-style rubberized grips
Anonymous No.63818435 [Report]

to add to that, I'd really like something like the Spanish Destroyer carbine but chambered in .380 and feeds from Walther PPK/S magazines.
