I think the big difference is that you need to go really fast to get the hammer to actually fly a decent distance - the range extension kit only gives it a bit of a boost to help it glide farther - whereas a rocket gets most of its range from its own propulsion

as an example consider the anemic engines on early jets - they took forever to get up to speed but once they're going they can go pretty fast, because the engine only needs to counteract drag.

in this case, the rocket probably amounts to a wet fart if you try to launch the bomb from a standstill and wastes most of its delta V accelerating the thing, but when you toss it from a fighter jet it can counteract energy loss to drag because the bomb is very sleek and doesn't have very much resistance to begin with.

those A-50s were indeed withdrawn from service, you don't remove all engines from an airframe because in post soviet countries they usually are mixed and matched over the entire fleet and have different service lives
they have so few operational A-50s after two were shot down and two damaged that they can only fly one patrol at a time, near belgorod or over azov sea
if they fly the north patrol they won't get any low altitude tracks on the south front and vice versa

I think my least favorite flat farther argument is this one kek, so good bait.
I tend to reply with anaologies like "if you had 500 vibrating balls in a box they don't magically jump out of a 2m tall box even if some get pretty high, the balls at the bottom have less space to move than the balls bouncing around the top, this is how density works.

They either think vacuum sucks things (it doesn't, air is like a liquid breaching into a submarine its just trying to escape from its own pressure in the gravity well) or they fundamentally misunderstand how gravity works on atoms too. They don't understand that the air molecules bounce off themselves to get pretty high in the gravity well, some even escape thanks to being given enough energy from solar rays to escape.
Anonymous No.63815078 >>63821337
>>63814660
A fanta can doesn't have enough mass to keep the air in unfortunately, it's held together by the container which then breaches like a submarine but backwards.
A planet does have the gravity to hold that gas down. Any gas too far away from the gravity to not be held down either falls back down or gets lost to space, but anything closer stays with the planet.
The sun is gaseous plasma, you can watch the gas fly up and fall down yourself by watching it with a solar telescope.
If you are the /pol/x/ schizo kill yourself retard.

Yes, though there's also an element of justifying existing prejudices (A bad thing happened, I don't like the Swiss, the Swiss must have caused a bad thing to happen) and a desire for there to be some narrative purpose and control in the world (If the Swiss are behind all the bad things in the world, I can work to make the world a better place by fighting the Swiss. It couldn't be that bad things sometimes happen to good people for no reason and there's no one to blame, then I'd have to reckon with my own insignificance in the face of forces beyond my, or any, control!).

Also, no, the russkies actually can't. Becuase they can't even make the relevant radars anymore and anyone with the skills to stick them to a plane is either dead or busy dying slowly in what passes for the russian pensioner system.

but this doesn’t matter because flat earthers don’t believe in gravity so therefore there’s nothing keeping gas as part of the planet

It's a question of carrying capacity and effect on target, you want to maximize the area covered by the bombs, so the optimal bomb is somewhere between the smallest bomb that will give you the desired effect on target and the bomb size that maximizes your payload capacity in terms of total ordnance carried, since there's size constraints with pylons. The assessment of the effect on target needs to account for precision.

>Rifleman of the 1427th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces Razmyslov Yevgeny, 01/07/1981, captured in Tyotkino, Kursk Region. He is currently in a Ukrainian hospital, without a leg. Most likely, he will lose the other one as well.

>He told how they went to storm Tyotkino: three β€œfat” unprepared fighters could not stand the march-throw and shot themselves. Another was shot by his own men because β€œhe went crazy.”

>When he surrendered, he asked to be shot. The Ukrainians, with the phrase β€œwhat are you, a fool?”, evacuated him to a safe place under enemy fire.

Losing your legs is a relatively minor problem in western society. Get a wheelchair. Your arms will be huge. Losing eyes or hands is the suicide-inducing shit.

You don't even need a wheelchair. Just some strong arms and properly adjusted crutches.

Want to know who else is getting out of AWACS? The USAF. The Wedgetail is being dropped and the idea now is that E-2s will backfill until the satelite system comes online. The USAF considers this to be a downgrade but too bad that’s the reality of the budget today.

This is a big topic, which isn't realy suited for 4chang due to character limits, but I'll try...

You're not getting it because of type of reverse-racism against russians, which exists for you because of the language and geography barriers. What I mean by reverse-racism here? The fact that you look at russians and see white or white-ish looking Europeans and thus subconsciously project your own European thinking patterns, culture and views onto them. Well, guess what? As the famous Japanese philosopher once said: russians are black, just wrong color by accident.

Russians might look European, but they inherently are not. They don't think the same way you do, they don't look at the world the way you do, they don't have the same thinking process or culture. Partially this is about multiple centuries of mongol influence (the RU statehood is still in the year of 2025 built based on the mongol system adopted by moscow princes after the mongol invasion). Partially this is about centuries of serfdom (fun fact, serfdom was abolished only in 1861 - russians were freed from slavery just 4 years before negroes in US). The final double tap into the head of potential normality of russians was the 70 years of bolshevik rule.

So yeah, first you need to open your mind of the fact that russian aren't white in their culture and aren't European in their heritage. And even when they've slowly moved to adopt European normality in one way or another something happened every time to reverse the process or hijack and weaponize it against itself.

The most recent example would be how a ton of kids who grew up during the 90s were way more westernized because they've see the USSR suck and then were able to inject a ton of foreign western culture into themselves. And maybe that would fix them in a couple generations, but nope - in 2000 the KGB regime restoration happened, by 2005 the regime entrenched and started pumping up more and more anti-western pro-soviet pro-imperial propaganda. Propaganda which also fell into a fertile ground, because the culture was fucked even before that. That's both imperialistic delusions of grandeur. Also russia's own weimar syndrome from losing the Cold War. A ton of resentment all across layers of society from not having special treatment from the western powers (they had special treatment, but they unironically wanted insane shit and were very offended when that wasn't provided). Don't get me started on how convenient of an idea is for the regime to blame all of the fucked up shit on "those pesky westerners are making issues for us" and shit.

Russians have an immense tolerance for suffering. They live in a society where every jutting nail gets hammered with immense brutality. This starts with familial violence when they're kids and continues as state-sanctioned violence as they age. From kindergarten to school and from workplace to the military, they're kept in check by the threat of, and the brutal use of violence. This instills this sheepish "I'll do what I'm told" attitude in them. Russians also use state-sanctioned alcoholism to sedate and control its population, vodka is cheaper than water.

Russian Revolt by the way happened because 1) vodka prices were surging, 2) the Russians thought that their international prestige was harmed by the Czar due to embarrassing battlefield performance. If either condition wasn't present, the Russian state might still be a feodal monarchy.

So yeah, the culture is deeply fucked. To so many factors that one could write a big ass book about it. One of the big components about this fuckedness is how russian society is a deeply broken mix of authoritarianism and paternalism, learned helplessness, feudal elements and collectivism on one side, while also having uber cynicism on the other side. This crap propagates the russian society and is reproduced since kindergartens and schools, indoctrinating more and more people with age.

And because of the factors instilled by this broken culture there's a big element of people not even thinking for a moment to resist authority in many ways, let alone actually projecting violence against it. I.e. you have people who have their heads and limbs smashed in by sledgehammers, you have rape pits, you have gladiator fights to the death, you have basement detention, you have torture. And 999 out of a 1000 retards won't even bat an eye at that. For them not only is that normal, but they'll actively cope that "yeah, fuck those guys" and "nobody would do that to them just for shits and giggles, they've obviously at fault _for something_" and so on. Same as with their cope about fucking each other in the ass and thinking that they're not gay. Deep layered system of delusions built since childhood.

So no, pretty much no one would dare to shoot their abuser, or frag a retarded commander. Or do anything.
