Those are 17 pounds for the "standard frames" such as the Glock 17 which is pretty weak for what I speculate was a design choice with weaker 9x19 loads. I run a 20-pounder for superior lock and to alleviate "primer drag"

Yeah, I would sooner believe the issue lies with the non-OEM components and that you must file the slide track or send it back [RMA]
