From the 1950s to 1967, Israel carried out "reprisal operations." Essentially this means that when Palestinians Israel displaced (including Christians) would raid into Israel from the countries they were displaced into, Israel would invade that country, find the nearest village they thing the Palestinians maybe could have lived in or operated from, and massacre it. They did this to dozens of villages from all their neighbors, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, etc.

This isn't at all legal under international law; it's like if we were to level a Mexican town every time there was a cartel shooting.
This led their neighbors to form a mutual defense agreement and sabre-rattle to deter Israel from continuing to attack and invade them. This caused Israel to launch the Pearl Harbor sneak attack that was the Six-Day War, and illegally conquer a bunch of territory in a war of aggression.

In 1981 you had Operation Wooden Leg, where Israel attacked fucking Tunisia for daring to host a conference for the PLO.
Shit, after the Assad regime fell, even though the new Syrian government had been on Israel's side and has been working with Israel, instead of relinquishing the Syrian territory it illegally occupied in 1967, Israel took the opportunity to invade and snatch up MORE Syrian territory, and continues to occupy that extra territory and bomb Syrian civilians to this day.

There is no real reason to believe that Israel wont attack you even if you kneel down and kiss the ring; Tunisia and Syria are prime examples of countries that did NOTHING to Israel, and were attacked for the lols.
