The cinædi in /gladius general/ are always going on about their engraved ivory hilts, but for a rank and file poorfag, isn’t simple hardwood hilt just as effective?
What about armour? Should I invest in a baller Lorica Squamata or is basic gallicshit chain Hamata just as good for defense against Barbarian’s wild strikes?
