Clearly, Israel wants to get that one nuclear enrichment centrifuge bunker that's under a mountain. Inspectors have said it took forever to get to the centrifuge because they had to walk down a lot of stairs. Israel could just bomb the entrances to the bunker, but the centrifuge would still be down there, waiting for Iran to dig it out later.

So the question would be, does the US gain anything from getting involved, just to destroy this one thing? What's the benefit and what's the loss? I think the benefit is that Iran gets set back from the nuclear bomb by like 4 more years (on top of the current setbacks). The loss could be a few things. Iran could shut down the red sea, they could bomb Saudi Arabia, and they could sponsor some more terrorist activities that target the US.

I think it could go either way.
