I don't know if "pistol" is in the text of the NFA, but I'm pretty confident it must be because they clearly distinguish between what a rifle and a pistol are, and how an sbr is distinct from them.
Regardless, the implementation of the NFA by the ATF has created the idea that a midget AR without a stock, or supplemented with a brace, is a pistol. And that's retarded.
If it shoots a rifle round, you hold it with two hands, it's a rifle.

If I am cross eye dominant(right handed, left eye dominant) which eye do I wear my PVS14 over?

I am told that the army teaches that you should wear the NV over your left eye in case you need to use white light to shoot your rifle normally, but I assume this is intended with right handed and right eye dominant shooters in mind because they are the overwhelming majority

does cross eye dominance give me an advantage here? since I can have my monocular over my dominant eye and still be used to shooting right handed?
