How come brown countries can just casually exchange missile fire like its no big deal? Can you imagine if china and the US started missiling each other? Or russia and ukraine which happened? Itd be full scale war, but 2 countries a stones throw from each other and its no biggy

i spent some time doing aid work in egypt/jordan/syria (before the civil war) and the common mindset is "allah wills it"

it really blunts horrendous life events for them. it also makes them complacent. why try to improve things? if allah didn't want it to happen, it wouldn't have happened
