That's really not helpful as a long term strategic goal when the entire economy of Iran is dependent on selling oil. Oil infrastructure is known for being many things but inexpensive, easy to replace, and hardened against explosives aren't any of them. It's also, by the nature of scale, extremely centralized in highly complex stationary structures. Iran can try and play that game but since Israel can simply decide that they don't want them to have any shipping terminals or pipelines anymore and can actually make that reality inside a few days that goal is off the table.

His Iranian nuclear talks were a mess and were looking to be the same ones as Obama made, which he criticised and then ended in his first term.

He is being very very badly advised by yes men and fully believed/believes that all these deals would be as simple as raising his eyebrow would cause 1000 year old conflicts and a century of globalization would bend to his will.
