I think Trump lets the Iranians sweat for a week before a B-2 strike. The main point holding up the negotiations before the Israeli started bombing was that Trump wants the Iranians to give up all enrichment, not just weapons grade.
Besides, it's not like he needs to rush. The Iranian air-defense network will be broken for quite a while.

Trump only cares about the deal lasting the next 4 years and I'm sure it would involve inspectors going in regularly for any nuclear compliance. Of course, I'm equally sure at some point Iran would tell them to fuck off like Saddam did, but I don't think Iran understands how much they pissed off the rest of the entire world with their proxy warfare in Hamas and the Houthis, so the terms are much less likely to be sanctions relief in exchange for good behavior but simply the beatings stopping.

Near zero unless the Iranians actually manage to sink a US warship or something.

Trumpโ€™s poll numbers would drop into the single digits if he sends American soldiers to Iran. Hell, heโ€™s gonna take a pretty serious hit if he simply bombs Iran. It might make him so unpopular that the Deep State/Establishment/ZOG/whatever you want to call it could actually depose him and potentially get away with it

Hamas starting the fun going again in the Middle East after it was finally starting to calm down and making all the neighboring Muslim countries have to pretend to care about the Palestinians instead of just shitting on Onlyfans whores in a luxury apartment certainly annoyed some of them, and the US and the West equally were annoyed at having to deal with the mess created by Israel flatting Palestine. Hamas also resulted in part in the Houthi mess, so they deserve some of the credit for that as well.

Pretty much everyone in the region aside from Jordan are "best ally" tier, though at least the House of Saud and the UAE can pay for their own shit, AFAIK. There's a special kind of disdain I have towards the House of Saud for helping to fuck over the modern arab world with their devil's pact with al-Wahaab, not that the region wouldn't be fucked either way but still. I'm no anti-semite, I hate all those cunts equally.

You guys know what?

With the Iranians basically begging the US to get Israel to stop and they'll agree to a deal, and the Israelis desperate for the US to hop in with heavy bombers, I don't think it's crazy to suspect that Israel lit some tankers on fire in the same spot Iran did. They've pulled shit like that before, and know Trump doesn't have the capacity to wonder why Iran would do that right now.
It seems like the Iranians have everything to lose from that and Israel has everything to gain. Alternatively, the chance at toppling the regime has never been better, and public opinion in the US won't support fighting Israel's war without *some* reason. We've pulled shit like that before - more often than even the Israelis.
I've seen some IDF guys complaining that they can't get the nuclear facilities because Israel doesn't have heavy bombers. "We reeeeally need the US" stuff. But they have air supremacy and C-130s. The only combat use of the MOAB was dropped by a C-130, and the MOP is about the same size. At altitude, it's an uncontested environment. They could easily do it themselves. I'm not even being one of the many paranoids we seem to get around here - it seriously makes zero sense why Iran would do this right now, but it makes some sense why either the Israelis or the US would.

do the isrealies even have a weapon equivalent to that though? You would think they would show it off if so. A lot easier to just bomb them yourself than coerce the US into doing it. >What are the chances we'll be seeing American boots on the ground in Iran?
There's a 100% chance that some secret squirrel stuff will happen, there'll be glowies embedded in Iranian specops that raid the enrichment bunkers.
Maybe a few other missions performed quietly around the place while the opportunity exists to fuck around in Iranian air space with no consequences and the ability to infiltrate and exfiltrate by helo remains as simple as filing a deconfliction plan with IAF.

Actual occupation won't happen, they'll (Israel with broad and strong western backing/cover including tankers, awacs, basing and intel integration) will just flatten every component of the MIC and regime control and wait for rebels to realise that there won't be armed responses to the next protest because the police garrison was razed in an air strike last night and the army is busy digging holes to put its remaining TELs into.

No one gives a shit if Iran gets a nuke because the story that the CIA successfully sold the American public was that Saddam was going to use nukes against America. Meanwhile, no one is buying that line except AIPAC politicians and Evangelical retards/MAGATs. The reason why is that Iran's messaging has been focused mainly on acquiring nukes for deterrence and to attack Israel. Something that only those aforementioned parties care about. The populace, largely, couldn't give a shit less if Israel took an ooknook to the face because they'd just respond with nukes of their own, removing the need for an American response altogether.

Also, it's worth considering why Trump is telling Israel to fuck off. It's not because he hates Jews, it's because Israel is looking for a handout and Trump views all American assets as being his. If you want to get Trump to drop MOPs in Iran, then Israel must offer tribute. And they won't, so it's a moot point. It's why his tone completely changed during Gaza. He was completely on board with helping Israel just turn Gaza into a parking lot when his AIPAC shiester buddies convinced him that Israel would totally let America (him) have all the beach front property he could dream of. Then Israel said no, and now where here.

Say what you want about the guy, the strong man egoism of desiring expressions of fealty and giving them offerings is a big part of who he is. If Israel won't cough up something tangible, then they don't get shit.

No, the story was that he was gonna use chemical weapons, which he already had used in the past to gas a bunch of Kurdish villages, was forced to give them up, but there was strong evidence to suggest that he was pursuing them again. The evidence did not conclude that, but the risk of it happening was plausible enough to go to war over it.

Nah, they went hunting for something, anything that would justify what they had very clearly already decided to do.
Blair was all in for various reasons, some of them literally identical to the Bush family's reasons.
The Blairs bought into the international capitalist class elite via The Carlyle Group and once in, were on the same page about the war.
Then both the UK and USA just went hunting for some shred of a story to justify it and once they found one, held it up without letting anyone look too closely at it, buried anything that didn't back it up and ran with it.

My hypothesis.

1. Nothing ever happens
2. Trump is all about deals and leverage and shit

So, this is all a big flex to intimidate Iran into making a deal. If they were planning something, they wouldn't be flying around with transponders on, or would at least make the minimum effort to mask their intentions. We can see it, and thus Iran can see it, hence the only logical conclusion is because they want it to be seen.

Ukies are saying it was a Russian shadow-fleet tanker, that would probably be using GLONASS.
The more likely explanation is that the ship wasn't transmitting its AIS transponder and that the other tanker wasn't paying enough attention to their radar.
It's a notorious strait for accidents though, local fishermen play chicken with the tankers to make the most of the run.

The origins of the bipartisan setup of the US is due to its primitive voting system which will *always* (mathematically proven) lead two a two-party quasi-stalemate. Modern voting systems (which have been carefully designed to work around this inherent flaw) would end the two-party situation, but it requires a nation-wide reform and, of course, both parties have a vested interest in never allowing this reform to happen in the first place, so down the spiral it goes. Game theory is fun. Reality, not so much.

There's technically a work around with America's first past the post system if it adopted ranked choice voting where you rank everyone who is running and if no one gets a majority of the vote, there's an instant run off where the bottom preforming candidates are removed and the people who voted for them then have their second choice counted so their vote isn't thrown out.
It basically throws away the concept spoiler candidates or needing to vote strategically (lesser of two evils vote). And forces candidates to run more broadly since you not only need to appeal to your own voters, but to another candidate's voters as well since you might need to coalition to win.
But for some reason American conservatives REALLY hate it though and have been going out of their way to ban it in states they control. Or you can ask this guy what the problem is >>63854764

Same with your system fuck face. You just shift votes around in the second stage to form a "majority".

Why the fuck would we punish mainstream popular parties and build a system that caters to the fringe? If your little indie guy lost, it's because he's fringe and that's good for politics. The two party system brings politics to the middle.

>Third parties can win in FPTP if there is this very precise scenario I created that gets nullified a vast majority of the time by the two party system
Looking at Australia, Ranked Choice is doing its job because 10 different parties are represented in parliament. as opposed 2 parties and handful of independents in America.
Ranked choice clearly does.
Also why do you hate the idea of getting a majority unless you're banking on the inherent corruption within FPTP to stay in power.

The ironic thing is Ranked Choice doesn't favor either party in America going by the elections, but conservatives hate it because they fear it removes some of their weapons to win elections.

See that's the all or nothing take that ranked choice avoids. You CAN make 1 first choice for a party you really really like or you can pick them and a runner up party that youre pretty cool with. But it would be harder to sow division in such a society, ruling party has the most who kinda agree. Keeps you from getting stuck with deranged kill all nonwhites vs gender correction for kids choices.

Centrists go to the more moderate of the two parties, hence the moderating effect of our system. It rewards whichever party elects the more moderate candidate in its primary process.

AIM-9 is also generally too light for the purpose. The AIM-120 on the wingtip of F-16s is there due to shockwave-induced separation causing a positive feedback loop with the structure, up to a certain amplitude. Putting the AIM-120 there damps it out. You need mass for it to be effective

I'm sure NATO is all-in on neutralising another Russian proxy and weapons reserve, as well as just generally cleaning up the region a bit.
Well, not all-in in the sense of declaring war or even saying that anyone should but all-in on background, non-public deniable support like AWACS and fuel tankering.

>article frames conscription within the defense of "freedom and diversity", but this idea clashes with the reality of an increasingly polarized German society. The article argues that Germany needs to move away from individualism and adopt a collective mindset.
>It claims that young Germans must fight not only for the country, but for the ideals of diversity that Stern promotes, just like the left around the world.

i wonder how many neo germans will pick up the call.

Being a small country with little resources in a world running on mass production bottom line undercutting, this is the inevitable result unfortunately. When the world had less people and they had access to the worlds resources and were a large 20%+ of the worlds manufacturing they were more relevant.
There is still value there, but its only in the people that are being replaced, and half of the educated ones now leave for higher paying jobs in other nations that can exploit natural resources to raise average wages.

Being a bong isn't a terrible life I hear as long as you keep away from the replacement retards.

They're about to go back into the situation room within the hour. I assume he's made a decision one way or the other. Also it was announced the Gerald Ford strike group would be leaving early for deployment to the eastern med.

Sounds like it's gonna be a USAF campaign until the supreme leader capitulates or the IRCG and Army fight each other for leadership.
I don't suspect any ground force involvement

Obviously there won't be any ground forces. They clearly aren't needed. A few more weeks of sustained and, with the US involved far more severe, bombing should be sufficient to cause mass revolts and, while not the IRGC, very possibly the defection of the regular to the Crown Prince. It's been reported multiple Iranian Army officers have already reached out to him through Mossad and CIA to declare their allegiance. The IRGC isn't really popular with the regular military either.

22 is stealthier then the 35, so might be slinging some HARMs if Iran still has an ADN in the East.

Find out what happens when F-22s enter a combat zone? Genuinely, that's what everyone including the USAF wants to know. You can run all the training missions you want but if there's not someone at least trying to shoot at you or real targets that need to be destroyed you'll eventually just have to shrug and give it your best guess.

not in any unclassified specifications... That'd be a stretch to think that it was able to do that from there, but it can probably cover some incoming missiles flying over Iraq and Syria from there.

wrong, USAF would nee MENA bases to operate from. MENA states won't allow that when USN can just operate out of international water. see Yemen.

Given that he's a high priest of a religion that extols the virtue of dying for your beliefs, and said religion is about the only thing keeping him in power, and he must be aware that Israel will invent reasons to attack him if they can't find any legit ones, I'd expect him to try to go down fighting.
