They kind of do, thing is once some Russians get bunkered in they just keep sending them and sending them to the same spots until there's enough to advance again. Ukraine can keep destroying them but after a few weeks enough get through and they eventually keep the foothold and expand.

The area is so saturated with drones it makes maneuver nearly impossible for any unit bigger than a fire team. Russian advances are largely the result of small teams of infantry slowly overwhelming Ukrainian positions. Similar things are happening in Sumy as well.
