You can find one you like. I disliked glocks I tried, and the P320 I can tell is ass let alone off the price-to-what-it-offers. But M&P was fun and a P10C was fun

What? Not a fan of guns made out of Indian parts for American made prices? At least its one of the few that go off without pulling the trigger.

Whatever Indians used to make good steel back in the day must have gotten killed by other Indians since then because I need a good slur for their product the way CHinesium used to apply to Chinese shit, even if now their electronics are pretty solid. Given how fast their bath metals fucking corrode I'll still call it chinesium thou.

I agree, but the P10C and M&P made me realize they aren't all bad.

Indium. Even funnier if it's used to shit talk steel or other metal parts that are cheese grade soft garbage like if it were made from actual indium.

I really don't either, though I shot someone's Glock and I shot pretty good with it. I still think most (read: MOST) striker polymer handguns look fuck ugly. And for mine:
>This "all guns are ambi now" shit is a retarded trend that needs to die already
I don't care if a company makes a gun convertible but FUCK do I hate ambi AR safeties. I hate ambi pistol safeties. I hate doubling the controls on a gun; it either gets in my way, it feels way easier to accidentally bump said button/lever, or it makes it feel like a snaggy piece of (very ugly) shit. And worse yet is that a lot of these forced ambi controls on new guns don't seem to have a non-ambi conversion available short of breaking the old Dremel out.

>>63865650
Probably 9mm? Idk. Depends where I'd be going, and it'd probably be on my hip anyways.

Confidence in what you carry is half the battle. Capability is the other half, and then actually carrying is the other other half. Im not good at math

Okay anon, not only does it feel like it's more in the way, it actively is. Having to also go out of my way to avoid the mirrored full size controls on the other side hinders me more than anything; I don't think I've ever used an ambi (left handed) control on anything. But it sure does force me to slow down to work around them.

he said he didn't care, not that he hates them
i got a 1911 myself along with a few other polymer & metal frame pistols, and there is a appreciable difference between them
to me, hammer is give or take; but the nice feel of a metal frame is hard to beat, it just has a proper balance & solidness to it
there are good polymer frame guns though, especially those with legit really good stippling

Striker-fired polymer pistols like Glocks are excellent duty pistols for military/police contracts, but they were always the bare minimum for a handgun, not the standard of excellence. Too bad big contracts dictate the direction of the market, so now we're stuck in a hell where almost every single company has dropped development of everything else to make "good enough" polymer pistols. They work well, but so does a single cab fleet truck, and I want more than that.

Anonymous No.63868468 [Report]
>>63864526 (OP)
I don't hate them, they're not bad and they certainly have their place on the market and use case but personally they just leave me wishing that I was shooting a metal framed hammer-fired gun instead.
I also hate that the market has shifted so far in the direction of safety-less polymer strikers that manual safeties, DA/SA actions, and metal frames, formerly staples of the market are virtually nonexistent outside of legacy models from people who never stopped making them like CZ and Beretta.

>You can find one you like.
The Springfield Echelon comes very close to exactly what I'd want, but IIRC they don't have compact frames with the safety.

You're absolutely welcome to your taste but you may miss out on some interesting pistols in the process. Though naturally if you are satisfied with what you have and don't care about having more stuff (or prefer to put your budget towards rifles or some other area of guns) that's totally cool.
