I got pretty good at it and I was able to pull off all the FPV drone moves (and more) you see in the Ukranian movies.

You can get good digital night vision for $300 thats in between gen 1 and 2 pvs14. It has its uses for self defense and just werks.

Using night vision for modern conflicts sucks doebiet because there's snipers waiting for you with thermal and they can afford $5000 ones on their sniper rifles and kill you easily just look at ukraine with the drone with thermal and the sniper footage.

They just fly a thermal high altitude drone to find your location and then have some specialists sneak up and kill you for 400m away with a ultra precise sniper while you pop your head out.

You can't compete with modern militaries, but you can hide from them and you can BTFO normies who didn't buy spare digital NV's before the collapse.

Most normies are too poor to afford even $1000 expense, much less on some phosphor NVG's or $2000 thermal imaging. If you have digital NV like the NVG30 you are probably above 90% of normies.
