That one is new to me.

The first I heard of was a Hermes near Isfahan (a fair way south of Tehran).
The second one I heard of (and saw video for) was a Heron near Khorramabad.
I don't really have any confirmation on either claim save that there is video and pictures going around, nothing I've seen geolocates them or makes them contemporary but the claims are pretty reasonable regardless.

If the army, religious police and police in general are bombed enough, there won't be anyone to confront protestors.
They can probably still maintain death squads to go after leaders but those leaders won't be obvious or easy to find with failing infrastructure and internet/phone outages and increasingly unnecessary for protests to occur and which if not stopped, will eventually lead into occupations of government buildings and actual regime collapse as police stations are looted and prisons broken into and previous protestors released by force.

Imagine- a fully Western Iran that joins NATO.
Monke would have a brain aneurysm from rage.
Well he'd be dead by then anyway, even in an absolute best case scenario it's gonna take like 50+ years for Iran to undo the cultural damage mudslimes have done and that's assuming once the Prince also dies ideally of old age (but potentially much sooner to fuckery) it doesn't just go tits up again.

From one of those Iranian F35s? Or anything else from the now non-operational Iranian airforce?
I think the rebels will know who's bombing them and in any case, it's not necessary.
Protestors during a military conflict will get shot by police without any intervention required, this is what happens when you're facing bad guys.
What you're describing is the false flag necessary when protestors are genuinely outside-agitated against a representative government that wouldn't shoot or bomb them to save itself.
That is not the case in Iran.

Iran was having a sizable protest movement of young people it was struggling to crack down on, but it's raped/killed all the people leading it back into submission. you can hop through VPN's and find that there's a decent amount of college-age kids there that have access to the wider internet and know what Iran was like in the 70's. was a pretty modern place, and a lot of those people in the immediate aftermath just kind of went quiet and figured that if they kept their heads down nothing would happen, because the shah was being kind of a fucking prick at the time anyways.

Nope, the fix is in. In yesterdayโ€™s press briefing Levitt said that Iran already has everything it needs to get a bomb, it would just take them "two weeks" once the order is given. The "two weeks" is just Trump trying to buy time for something heโ€™s being forced to do, and the messaging has been set to support it as if Trump is totally in charge and protecting America etc. the U.S. military no longer does war, but light bombing is still possible if the balance of the power structure wants to hit Iran, theyโ€™ll hit Iran and the President is just a ceremonial rubber stamp.

SPICE bombs used to have 12 control surfaces, fore, mid and aft fins.
That was probably the easiest way to distinguish them but now they come in a bunch of different form factors.

They should still say SPICE or Rafael on them somewhere though.

Openly saying this is utterly retarded and makes him look like even more of a western stooge than he already is. The smart thing for the opposition to do is to loudly proclaim that they are setting aside their differences with the government and will form a unified front, while secretly negotiating with the west, stockpiling weapons, quietly organizing for a revolt after the bombing stops, perhaps feeding targeting information on the whereabouts of VIPs and military activities.

No, you can't perform a popular uprising in secret, especially not without telecommunications.
It has to be done in public, it's the only way it works.
Without an ability to organise a wide-spread movement with local organising committees, the only way is a popular movement, which only works if everyone knows it's there to join.

nothing he said was remotely related to anything western, the west isnt even involved in iran at the moment and even if the west starts actively helping the iranian opposition take the country you want to show everyone you were on it before the stepped in.

also the regime is weak and panicked, lost dozens of top commanders and dozens of regime police and propaganda buildings hit. telling them you're coming for them now is putting pressure on them and making them panick and spread their resources thin. this is also what trump is doing with his rhetoric and moves with the US armed forces. he hasnt actually done anything but the pressure he achieved is massive from just talk.

thats why you to proclamations like the iranian king did while waiting and seeing the regime take hits, not risking their people and waiting for the opportunity to strike.

the actual uprising will be sudden we cant predict what will spark it, might even fizzle out if the regime manages to show enough competence on maintaining order in the streets. one think that might spark it is elimination of khaminei. after he ordered bombing of hospitals and cluster bombs on civilians he is now a known war criminal and the army said taking him out is not off the table.

The Shah was a tyrant and there was a genuine popular revolution, but the Islamists were the best organized, so they took over and crushed all opposition. They actually killed thousands of Marxists who had also participated in the revolution, while others fled and joined Saddam's forces or went into exile in Europe and so on.

>First, there is pure CCD or IR for low lighting conditions image matching, when the guidance section uses algorithms to match the target image in its memory with the image provided by the seeker and align the center of the seeker's FOV with the desired image, a guidance method known as DSMAC.
>Second, if the CCD\IR seeker cannot acquire its target for any reason, such as visual obstructions, the bomb can automatically switch to GPS\INS guidance. This means that the bomb aspires to bring itself to the target's altitude at a known geographical location. The bomb receives data on its current location from GPS satellites, or from an inertial navigation system in the bomb itself, that has been fed, through the pylon datalink, with the dropping aircraft's coordinates a fraction of a second before the drop and can therefore calculate its coordinates from the dropping time and on.
>Third, there is a manual "man-in-the-loop" guidance option, in which the WSO looks at a backseat TV display to see the seeker's view, sent to them through an RF command guidance datalink, and uses the backseat stick to control the bomb to the target. With a skilled WSO that has a "sensitive hand", this guidance method is potentially the most accurate one employed today for air-dropped munitions and has no measurable miss distance. Its main drawback is that it allows for only one bomb to be guided at a time.

their sortie rates have actually been pretty interesting to watch. I suspect they are running out of fixed targets. The distances involved limit loiter times so they have less time to look for anything popping up. Obviously a lot of iranian assets, human or otherwise, are going to ground. The Israelis have been claiming like x2 targets hit per the number of planes they are putting in the air pretty consistently. They need to generate targets for aircraft to make sorties profitable. I dont think falling rates indicate anything about their ability to fly, and more about their ability to find targets they can attack in a timely manner when the aircaft arnt spending much time in the area. Trying to hit targets deeper and deeper in Iran makes this even harder. The claims I have seen if that they are showing up on station and only loitering for minuets before needing to head back. This makes it very hard to hit road mobile systems that are only exposed for short periods even if you can see them.

Also, the initial surge is a tactic to overwhelm AD for SEAD and DEAD missions. You surge aircraft in to suppress defenses and support other attacks, creating localized air superiority. Once the stuff that is a threat to higher altitude aircraft, or those further away, are suppressed you would expect to see surge numbers falling off.

also, you can't take out an airbase with the iran's ballistic missiles given their shit precision. not even russia could disable the ukie airbase with their cruise missiles and ballistic missile, yet some how iran' is expected to with the shit precision they have? we saw what happened the last time they fired ~180 ballistic missiles and had some 40 impacts in and around an airbase

>if they start protests/anything tomorrow they will be hit extra hard and their whole chance will be jeopardized it makes no sense
Organic protests start small, just a few kids throwing stones at a police station because the police are away managing traffic around a bomb site.

>some local cop comes along and slaps the kids around
>waves an AK at them to get attention and make them back off
>some passing motorists shout some slogans at the cops to piss them off who sense they're losing control of the scene
>a warning shot is fired at the motorist
>it's misinterpreted and a kid tries to grab the gun
>someone gets shot.

>the next day a crowd gathers at the station to protest the killing
>someone throws a molotov...

>everyone's waiting for some kind of a decision
They're not, they don't have communications so rumours are flying and there's no way to verify anything.
They're waiting for pressure to build to some point. Pressure builds by
>people start disrespecting the regime in public
>ignoring hijab laws
>vandalising government propaganda/property
>hassling police who know they have no backup since the local garrison/station was bombed

If Israel really wanted to screw with Iran, they could hack/jam police comms. That would make anti-regime actions more successful and more threatening, necessitating a harsher response which begets more anti-regime actions.

A large chunk of the population thinks the flag should look like picrel
They disagree a bit on whether there should be a lion with a sword on it, the monarchists love the idea but republicans think it's too associated with the monarchy despite being a pre-existing national symbol.

The reason Iran won't rally like you say is two fold:
Iran is not being invaded, just raided and the raids are aimed at the regime, not the populace. Therefore, Iran is not under existential threat, just the regime is.
Secondly, the regime is hated and people aren't going to want to help them survive in any way.

They're cheering at regime offices and army bases getting blown the fuck up. Maybe they're reluctant to do so in public because of reprisals but they're not going to go out and protest to save the ayatollah.

Inshallah.

It's a real question as to how the regime will try to keep order while under attack.
For now, bombings are confined to military facilities and if that stays true then keeping order won't be a problem but if police stations or government offices get hit much, that's going to change quickly and their response has a lot of potential to be inflammatory.

Those billions are only a smallish portion of their defence budget.
If they're not under threat from any regional actors, they might not mind reducing that budget a little.
With Lebanon somewhat purged of Hezbollah, Gaza gutted, Syria quelled, pacified and struggling to rebuild and Iran demilitarised and/or neutral, what do they have left to worry about?

Belgium is incredibly secure.
If Israel were a bit more secure, they would need less of a military.
Their military budget is about 5.2%GPD, around $25b. They only get about $2.5b from US under normal conditions, plus special gibs for special reasons which does happen every year or two.

If they have to shrink their defence budget by 10%, they probably can. Just not engaging in air campaigns against Iran will do that for them.

They have no strategic depth. This is a nothingburger if you're Russia afraid of a 1941 invasion because that is what a nuke is for. If you are a tiny spit of land that has one Chinese caliber nuke smoking maybe 1/5th or so of your entire land (or well inhabited land, negev ignored) then it's a bit of a bigger fear. That said, the mistake is people buying rhetoric of corrupt oligarchs. This is just a situation where it is a big danger for Israel, too bad so sad, it's not my problem. We can handle a nuclear Iran like we handle north korea or Pakistan (or Saaristan) or China having nukes. >They have no strategic depth. This is a nothingburger if you're Russia afraid of a 1941 invasion because that is what a nuke is for.
I am stating Russia's fear of strategic depth is a nothingburger because their fears of a 1941 invasion are irrelevant today - in such an invasion that is what a nuclear weapon is for
>If you are a tiny spit of land that has one Chinese caliber nuke smoking maybe 1/5th or so of your entire land (or well inhabited land, negev ignored) then it's a bit of a bigger fear.
The point being Israel's land is so small that you can, with my picture, have maybe 1/5th to 1/7th of the entire population be hit by a single nuke. One over Carmiel, one between Netanya and Nablus, one in Tel aviv, one in Jerusalem, one in Beersheba, you've basically painted all of Israel with a (chinese) nuke. That's the strategic depth they lack. Yes they can second strike, but they'll do so with a majority of their population dead - both from the nuke and from the Palestinians rising up and doing a zombie-like massacre with the collapse of the Israeli state.

Shit, you're a bot aren't you? You saw I posted a map and you said "Did you even check a map". I literally posted a fucking map.

IDK what this is but it's fake in some way
it clearly doesn't look like you're approaching those objects, it looks like you're zooming in to an image.

Look how when it gets "close" the trucks don't have any perspective distortion or foreshortening. it's fake. And the you know whose language I see on these videos only serves to cement the idea that it is a lie. I think they may have lied about some other stuff before as well, not sure though

I think it's really funny how we passed the point when retards believed everything on the internet by default and have reached the point where they selectively dismiss things they don't want to believe as fake.

anon I don't even know what the mp4 is depicting but it definitely looks weird. Don't try to convince me it doesn't, because it does.

HOWEVER, I just realized that maybe the camera on the missiles or whatever has a small view angle anyway and the feed cuts out before impact because it detonates before impact. That would explain things

TV guided weapons have a camera with a very long focal length, makes them easier to aim and steer.
the feed cuts out early because its a stand off weapon, the further away it is, the the longer the delay between what the operator sees and whats actually being recorded by the munition.

Iโ€™m wondering how many more sorties the IAFs airframes can handle before needing to be replaced, some of those legacy fighters are from the 80s and theyโ€™ve been flying round-the-clock for almost 2 years now

If you like to believe that every successful revolution has been puppet-mastered by the CIA then sure, organic protests don't do anything.
That's an unfalsifiable position and ends up depending on circular reasoning because literally any counter-example I provide, you'll insist was the CIA or a Hungarian investment banker for some reason and the less evidence that outside forces were involved, the more you'll insist they were covered up.
