German here, this sounded like some Burger tried making up a German name, but i looked it up, it's actually real. Why did German names sound so much cooler back in the day?
There's one really fascinating thing about Turks, they name their children in traditional Turkish ways 99.9% of the time. Almost all Turkish names are old, very old. Reading about the early ottoman empire, every single name you come along has been sitting next to you in the subway or at school at some point.
Meanwhile, the leaders of an east german neo nazi group that were in the news lately are literally named "Quentin" and "Finlay".
