i would never give sig money after the shit they pulled, but that's me be petty. I honestly think the shield is a better gun SIG wins in modularity, but in my experience the "modularity" of the 365 is a neat party trick that isn't going to impact an individual user with a well defined use case. hot take: you shouldn't be modifying a carry gun in the first place.

Prodigy is what you buy if you want a project gun.

Springfield’s 1911s are fine, if there is issues send it back and they will fix it.

Kimber just released a new 1911 (next generation) line and the initial review from Humble Marksman (known as bumble shartsman) he fired 1000 rounds out of the Kimber 1911 with zero issues which is very promising. It uses an external extractor which fixes a lot of 1911ism issues.

Dan Wesson makes excellent 1911s. If you want a double stack look at their DWX.

> the "modularity" of the 365 is a neat party trick that isn't going to impact an individual user with a well defined use case
Just for the sake of argument, here’s a well defined use case: you buy a macro and a light and an IWB holster … then you buy a smaller grip module, mags, and a second holster

Now you have a summer and a winter carry. Small size for summer, and larger (plus a light) in winter when you can cover it with a jacket.

To be fair though, with sigs prices you could probably get two guns instead

Nope. I have 5 handguns in 9mm, two revolvers in 38sp, a 32, and a 22.

But what sucks is that I have rifles in 5.56, 300 aac, 7.62x39, 7.62x54, 7.62 nato, 308, 30-06, 30 carbine, 8mm, fucking 6.5 carcano - you get the idea. I’m too old for this shit. I never go to the rifle range with anything other than an AR or M14 because it’s such a chore. I’ve got three k98s but not enough ammo to make a trip worthwhile. So I’ll buy some, but then I have some left over so I have to store it.

Meanwhile, the pistol range is indoors and standardizing means I pick a gun and just go. It’s a lot more fun than rifles. I just don’t want to make the same mistakes

It gets dark early in the winter. If you think someone has a weapon but you can't see for sure, what do you do? By your logic, you aren't confident so you can't produce your weapon ...and you die. Game over. Care to try again?

Round two: you still aren't sure. You produce your weapon. Now what? You're still not sure. Do you just start blasting? That's fucking crazy!

>I genuinely don't think a lot of you have thought this shit out
I've clearly thought this shit out better than you have, and I'll demonstrate that easily:

> you thought wrong
Totally irrelevant.

According to the law, that is totally irrelevant.

The law (in every state) doesn't say that you have to be right. It says that you have to operate on a reasonable belief.

So here's the scenario: you hear something your backyard and go out to investigate. You see someone, but it's dark. You think you see a weapon.

Your response: "lolol you were wrong" is irrelevant.

What's relevant: you reasonably feared for your life ...not enough to shoot though. If you start blasting in that situation, you'll have a long court fight ahead of you. However, the facts of this hypothetical absolutely support turning on your flashlight to confirm or dispel your reasonable fear.

Above, in >>63871018 you said the only two possibilities are (1) no gun or (2) start blasting.

I'm telling you, and the law supports me, that this is a false dilemma. You can have a reasonable fear that allows you to lawfully threaten (by pointing a gun at) a person ...which you then confirm or dispel using a flashlight.

R8 would be my choice due to being able to put a light on it for home defense, for range toy purposes it also has the ability to easily put on a red dot, you could use a QD mount on the top rail which would make it super easy

I have a 586L comp which I “was” going to carry but with how fat it is (I should have got the M19 Comp) it quickly became a bad idea and I was not autistic enough to go through with it. The 586 L comp is fun since magnums are all about the muzzle flash and bang IMO, the compensator enhances both of those while reducing recoil quite a bit, it had no muzzle rise with the target loads I was using.

agree with second anon. Every shotgun I've ever owned I've sold within a year. You can't shoot them at any range unless it's an extremely rare and hard to find one that lets you shoot buckshot. Most ranges only let you shoot flying clays with birdshot and that's it.

If you own your own property then go for it. But don't invest a lot into one. The Maverick 88 is an excellent gun and can literally be bought brand new in almost any gun store for $250. But even then, only buy one if you just really really want one.

Ill give you a mini review, although mine is in 380 so I can't speak fully on the 32, although in terms of external dimensions they're identical I believe.
I got it because I was trying to get a more powerful pocket/deep concealment gun than my baby, and I quite liked the origin of it and Mr Seecamp's vision.
The recoil impulse is awful. I'm not exaggerating as I don't really mind 357 out of a j-frame, but the fact the frame is so short lengthwise and the trigger pull is so long leads to a very awkward grip, it might be better in a smaller hand and with some hogue rubber wrap arounds.
There are no sights, I'm not a bad shooter with trench sights but this lacks even those so accuracy beyond 5 yards suffers a lot in my hands. This is on purpose though as seecamp viewed it as an up close quick usage gun.
It will only feed hollowpoints and flat nose 380 with appropriately short OAL. Flat nose 380 isn't always easy to find so it makes this a hard gun to train with cheaply.
I haven't replaced the extractor yet on mine since it will fire fine without it and Im lazy.
They're obviously well made, the tiniest 380 you can buy in terms of size, fairly light despite being all steel. It will work but I still carry my baby since at least with it I know I can hit fast follow-up shots and shoot out to 15 yards if necessary.

I'm supposed to get a gun that work, the worrisome part is, when a gun have problems like cycling or ejection problems, people tend to put the gun on sale and make it someone's else problem (it's never disclosed). If it's still under warranty the manufacturer takes care of it. Regarding actual repairs, most gun shop will arrange it, they will purchase the parts from either the maker or a 3rd party or even order it to be machined then replace it. The problem is, any repairs or modification costs an insane amount of money for the most basic stuff...

The problem is, you don't do stuff like shooting from a motorcycle because you're not "allowed to" at the (((range))), so you're completely buckbroken in how you train. I don't care if I'll have to rebuild it after a few thousand rounds, because it's an easy job and technically part of routine maintenance. Hell, just buy some extra trigger kits with the gun. While I'm at it, here are my favorite Ruger GP100 attachments:

>competition trigger kit
>speedloaders
>revolver holster
>low profile attachment rail
>low profile red dot sight
>weighted ergo gel grip (or lightweight grip)

Nice aim tech mount, those go for a bit second hand but I don’t then they’re actually that good at holding zero

92 prices are in the gutter right now, brand new 92FS surplus from Italian police just hit the market ~550. Sale price usually only gets brand new ones around 600

Thanks. I gotta find a proper dot mount or something. Afaik its weaver 1913 and not regular pic. Seems fairly solid but a baptize the grip screws in loctite thing. There's the other model (diff company) that utilizes the takedown assembly, but there was a reason why I didn't go with it. I think it was because of the mr11. Outside of that and rear sight replacement, those are the only options for optics afaik,

Jarvis 1/2-28 compensator on a beretta OEM threaded barrel, they make a .575-40 which puts the ports closer to the slide because it has shorter threads.

>>63880311
I think the only other mount you can do without a factory rail is either drilling and tapping or having Langdon Tactical cut it. I guess you can do a EGW dovetail mount

Pretty much. Kind of limited but would drastically improve the gun outside of maybe drilling the front sight for fiber. If I have to send it off, I might as well do the Allegheny frame safety too.
>Optic I was mentioning above
The alternative is a b-square. It interferes with takedown. At the time, I deemed the aimtech superior up until I realized that the left side decocker lever won't allow disassembly, so you gotta take the optic off anyways or delete the lever. I may switch to this maybe. If I had my way, I'd probably try to frame mount a 90 degree cmore mount like you see on competition 1911's. Just not sure if beretta frames can support that without egging out/cracking and whether it would interfere with the mr11.

You told someone that all holes touching at 15 yards wasn't impressive but posted this. You say group size and split times don't matter, because you know that you can't compete there. You say you have a "MRDS" whenever someone posts better groups and how they're bad for carry, despite cops carrying them, people conceal carrying them, the entire market transitioning to red dots.

You constantly antagonize everyone in the general but pretend to be not at fault when everyone fucking hates you. You're a narcissist so being the center of attention one way or another is your goal. You say you're "leaving" but then later post in the same thread.

You deny being from /arg/'s troondiscord but you know their members by name and repost their talking points.

Outside opinion: HG has always been shit, Half of it is beretta-posting, wholesome posting, posting food (I wonder who did this), and faggot enablement. I received more helpful information in my visit today as compared to the past. That's especially relevant as this place took a dive after everything was down. It's like a bomb went off and the only people left are a handful of helpful locals, a bunch of faggot tourists, and redditors drama-posting about meaningless shit.
