Hello /k/,

My country is part of the EU and our overloards have decided citizen's can't be trusted with "high capacity black assault clips" I spare you the details of how european law but soon enough all mags above 20 rounds will be illegal.
I have enough mags for the guns I have but I want to be "future proof". Which mags would you recommend me stocking up ?
I currently have :

-AK 47 - 5 steel mags + 2 bakelite
-AR15 - 7 MAGPULL MOE mags
-AKS74U - 2 Bakes
-SIG226 - 2 15 rds Mags
-Ruger 10/22 - one 10 rounds mag
-COLT (Walther) 1911 .22 - One 13 rounds mag

Guns on my "to buy" list are:

-SVD
-Shotgun
-a bolt action
-a tokarev
-A revolver


As you can see none of the wishist guns will be affected by the ban, but I want to make sure if some day I wake up with a hitch to buy something else I don't regret buying the right mags...

Right now I'm thinking about getting some extra 5,45 (8) and double the amount of 5,56 and 7,62x39 maybe thro in a couple of 20 rounders for a Glock for the giggles and a 25 rounder for the ruger 10/22

your thread was unfortunately derailed by bots but I'll help you out, stock up heavy on AKM, AK-74, and AR-15 mags everything else is secondary.

You definitely need more AK-74 magazines.
You are badly lacking on AR mags. 7 may seem like a lot but heaven forbid one or two of them breaks. Get some aluminum GI style mags to round it out.
Doesn't hurt to get a few more AK-47 steel mags if they are cheap.
If allowed, some Glock 32rd sticks would be great in case you buy a PCC down the road. Glock has become the default pistol caliber mag pattern if there isn't a strong reason to use something else.
