The L85 is basically an AR-18 bullpuped very poorly by nogunz engineers. Sterling even offered a mockup that follows the same design concept.

The modern BRN-180 is a heavily updated take on the AR-18 but ultimately a new rifle. A bullpup based on it is obviously not an L85 in the true sense, but it is very much in a similar vein. Better in fact, since it was engineered by people who had actually shot a gun before.

You have to actually disassemble the action of the rifle in order to remove the magazine for it to count as a fixed magazine. Bullet buttons don't legally function as a workaround anymore.
