>be me
>decide to check out Dark Storm Industries in person, heard they were decent but wanted to see for myself
>walk into the store, immediately hit with the “LEO Only” vibe
>first thing I notice is a “Don't tread on me” flag with a “Blue Lives matter" sticker on the door
>yep, here we go
>place reeks of overpriced tactical nonsense and ego
>half the store is full of cops in full tactical gear buying another AR for their “off-duty” use
>everyone else is just standing there waiting for their turn to be served, like some sort of second-class citizen
>try to check out a few rifles, get completely ignored by the guy behind the counter
>he’s too busy giving LEOs discounts on the “premium” models
>finally get his attention, and he treats me like I’m asking to buy a goddamn tank
>ask him about a standard AR-15, and he’s like “Oh, we have those, but they're not LEO-grade”
>he says it like I’m not worthy of the good stuff
>gets even better, he tells me some rifles are “restricted for LEOs only” even though they’re LEGAL for civilians
>mfw I’m standing in a store that thinks cops are the only people worthy of owning quality guns
>decide to ask about prices, and he’s charging me extra just for existing as a civilian
>this isn’t a gun store, it’s a goddamn LEO fan club that’ll sell to civilians as a last resort
>they know they’re overpriced and don’t care because they’ve got the monopoly on the LEO crowd
TL;DR: Dark Storm Industries doesn’t give a single damn about regular gun owners. If you’re not LEO or military, don’t even bother stepping foot in the store unless you want to be treated like a peasant begging for scraps. They restrict civilian access to rifles that they could sell but don’t because “only LEOs need the good stuff.” Avoid.
