Incompetent retards from Tupolev design bureau have embezzled all the money but failed to produce a prototype and they can't even restart the production of ancient Tu-160, lost technology blyat

in 2023 they said the design phase will start in 2025
so lets say 5 years to design the thing or more
lets say 2 more years to buil a prototype
another 3 to 4 years of testing
probably late 30s early 40s

Non memey impartial answer : Drone development is likely taking the lead due to the current war and long range bombers aren't a priority let alone a super experimental prototype.

It's the stealth Blackhawk of Russia. Outside of speculation, we won't know of existence until after it nukes a carrier or major US city.

3rd world countries don't have (big) black projects, instead of developing secretly, they show everything and ever more.

Like vast China with giant empty regions flies their newest prototypes like J-36 in the middle of a city during daylight.

Or like Iran that shows even projects that are not real like Qaher-313, imagine if they actually developed something.

Or like russia that boasts about PAK-DA and Su-75 and then quietly cancels them years later

Same as with many Russian projects. There's not enough space in the budget, so the project moves at a snail's pace
Anonymous No.63905151 [Report]

To run a project in total secrecy is expensive and cumbersome. You don't make a project a black project unless you really have to. China likely decided to let the public know of the J-36 and J-50 because the projects had moved to a development stage where there would be frequent test flights, and they didn't want to have to disassemble and move the aircraft out into the desert each time they want to test fly them. Compare with the Chinese RQ-180 equivalent, of which there only is a satellite photo because it is still relatively secretive

You also can't realistically run a project in secrecy if you hope to attract export customers to help fund it (e.g. Su-75) so you might as well go public with it

Yeah, I loved how their plan to "restart" the line was to just slap together leftover parts and airframes from the first run.

Why are wehraboos like this? First flight for that aircraft was 1945, not 1942, meanwhile the first flight for picrel, made by the American company that made the B2 spirit, was in 1942. They also built more of picrel than your shitcan craft project (4 vs 3). Jack Northrop had been building flying wings since the '20s. You "people" are pathetic.

Not everyone can be a corrupt official but in this case it's just privacy.
There are no poor people living in that suburb, they might not even be allowed to drive down Shoigu's street.
