They're the best AK pattern rifle available domestically, and the 2nd best AK after the RK-62.

I haven't handled one so I wouldn't be able to say, but considering Yisrael Galili copied the RK-62's receiver the main differences seem to be cosmetic.

I had a galil ace in 7.62x39 because it's the only non 5.56 AK I can get in my state. It was really nice.
