You have never fired the L85A2/3/4. I have. Outside of C8's it is one of the best rifles I have fired. It has downsides but no gun is perfect (the new Sig rifle for the US is fucking awful but despite the countless reports saying it breaks, is useless for current doctrine, heavy, insane recoil etc, Americans on this board will suck its dick because it's for AMERICA). The L85A2/3/4's issue is 1. Ergos, which are pretty bad 2. Not ambidextrous and 3. Cold as fuck so sleeping with it in a bag is horrible.
