It's pretty insane when you realize that the UK's nukes literally depend on American missiles to be delivered.

How much of a pathetic power do you have to be to allow your nukes to depend on other countries to be launched?
Even turboshitholes like India and Pakistan developed their own delivery systems.

It seems to be working out for them. London is still basically the financial centre of the world.

If this Anglo thing is ticking along, seems silly to rock the boat by restarting some intra-Anglo feuds. What are they going to do, send Kiwis to do Hakas opposite the Wall St Bull?

You mean its working out for London, Thatcher let the rest of the UKโ€™s industries rot in exchange making London more attractive for money laundering.
> If this Anglo thing is ticking along,
But it isnโ€™t, Britain is a vassal of America, and America is a vassal of Israel. Atlanticism was a mistake, Britain should deepen its economic ties with the rest of Europe.

UK wages are shocking. Jobs that would get you over 150k USD PA in the USA pay about 50k GBP PA in the UK with far worse taxes. All that wealth is going somewhere and it's not in the pockets of the people. No wonder why so many of their best educated flee for greener pastures.

I would never believe it would but it's there "in the economy", even if it's not really circulating so much.
That's good enough for the people making decisions like
>is it a good idea to allow the vassalisation process to continue knowing that we'll be part of the new financial elite that emerges?
or
>should we break away from USA and try to unify with continental Europe to replace the set bonuses we used to get from Empire?

Keep in mind that aside from being a small fish in a big pond in continental Europe, they'd just fought the second of two recent existential wars with the unruly chaps and they didn't seem to be quite ready for a unified trading economy.

They cover it up so hard they had 9 separate inquiries into it since 2001 and it's been current in the news for nearly 20 years. And the inquiries were not cover jobs, I've read them, they're pretty damning to the local council and most of them include recommendations about how to go forward to prevent it happening again.
The paki rape gangs exist and the original council tried to cover it up at a local level, but since then it's all been pretty out in the open. Everything else is pretty much propaganda from turdies and Russians looking to cause shit.

No, these may have been (arguably) triggering incidents, but they weren't caused by it, there existed wide sstemic fissures and issues in those two places that presumably do not, despite the Kremlin's best efforts, exist in the UK.

There's also the problem of how to get it back to England or wherever it's supposed to be.

It's really sad. The UK used to have one of the world's most impressive militaries, and they produced some of the greatest military strategists, explorers and hunters the world has ever seen.

Now they are struggling to upgrade their armed forces, and are one of the most woke, anti-hunting countries in the Western world.

I wouldn't say that, there are some real freaks in British intelligence.
The Cambridge Five happened because of this and it remains true to a degree even today.

I could totally see GCHQ having a bunch of /b/tard oldfags and those would probably post on /k/ given their professional interests (possibly be /g/ natives though).

I don't know how much time you've spent in old buildings like a manor house but they're impossible to insulate and have terrible climate control and require extensive and constant maintenance or they turn into a crumbling shithole in no time at all.
An ugly, modern concrete block is far, far more comfortable to live in.
You can't imagine how demoralising it is to live somewhere where the doors all stick at the start of a season and need to be adjusted because of swelling wood or shifting beams.
Where every room has a draft, where the wiring burns out good lightbulbs in no time, you can't have too many appliances running in one room and there's a lingering smell of damp in the plaster that gets into your washing if you try to hang it up indoors on a rainy day.

I'm a little bit triggered.

Kek just passing through, but I live in one of those buildings inhereted from my nan, not only is there now fun subsidence, but the roof of each floor is 25foot tall, the electrics kill LED lights like fucking crazy, the roof always leaks despite a new roof being put on (I need to re-cover the walls with new siding to stop side leaching)
There are random holes in the back rooms that used to have old boilers, half the garden concrete flooring with brick outlines from where they knocked down the servants quarters, half the internal walls have damp.

Kinda fun actually, but fixing the subsidence is going to cost a fortune on a massive 3 floor building like this (and attic/basement).
What's even more fun is it's semidetached and the neighbour is a crazy tier retired nurse that believes all medicine is poison, and is likely not going to agree to fixing the subsidence.

Kek.

Oof, I don't envy you anon.
At least if it's that kind of building, when done up you could probably rent out the wings as self-contained airbnbs or something. I see those places listed for a small fortune on airbnb.

They probably intentionally manufacture the missiles to be nonfunctional. America gets no benefits from the UK having nukes.

This is more a US problem if the f-35 can't be fixed even with US mechanics on site.
Maybe the aircraft is still under warranty.

eh, it saves a little bit of money on nukes by having Britain pay rather than America. If Britain's paying $5bn to host more US-controlled NATO weapons, that's $5bn America can give to Israel or whatever.

That may actually cause the fall of the west but it's not because of this specific thing.

You ignored anon's post though which completely refuted your bullshit claim. And now you're just responding with a repitition of your claim that adds nothing to refute anon and adds nothing to your claim that England covers it up.
In fact it seems like they threw your guy in jail so I don't know how that's supposed to show them covering it up.

There's a bunch of tools you need for a lot of the F135 engine maintenance.

You do realise that the UK created nukes first, right? Like they invented it, right? Look up Tube Alloy Project. In fact, they trade it with the USA and then the USA kicked them out after WW2 and didn't give them any of the research of the Manhattan Project that the Brit scientists worked on. So the Bongs just finished their original project in the 50's.

You do realize that the US attempted to hamstring British attempts to make nukes? They were completely against the UK having nukes until they succeeded. That's when they switched to trying to strategically limit UK nuclear autonomy.
The US has always had a policy of limiting proliferation among allies. That's why South Korea, for example, hasn't made one yet. They know they'd lose their US support.
Just because they hand off the nukes to France and the UK to artificially reduce their stockpile numbers doesn't mean they were magnanimously trying to share the wealth.

The Manhattan Project was it's own thing and was a concurrent, but separate nuclear project with the Tube Alloy Project that later was combined with the TAP. The US was still the first to make nukes first britfag.
