because they can specialize for a ground war in japan and thereby design weapons that are made purely for japan's terrain. anything that would be used in offensive capacity is license-built clones of US weapons otherwise though, which still means they sit head and shoulders above nearby peers in the quality of their arms. quantity is lacking for any extended engagement.

If by "experts" you mean weaboo armchair generals on the internet, yea sure.

In reality the JSDF is just as inexperienced in modern warfare as the PLA, but for the Japs is even worse since most of their equipment isn't combat proven, unlike chinkshit.

The only ones with real combat experiece in east asia are the Koreans, with North Koreans recently getting a lot of it in Russia and South Koreans deployements to the Middle East.
