Is room cleaning dead?
>Fly drone inside building to check for hostiless
>After that you just demolish the building
Why not just fly an FPV inside and call it a day?

played too many video games?
unless the payload was set on fire, it will not go off

>Enemy csn just launch a grenade/more drones
and they will get shot down
at a certain point, you have to physically enter the building and clear people out
its why you cant simply demolish buildings entirely even with artillery to remove the occupants, buildings are hard to destroy and even if you do, the rubble it leaves behind is still defensible

Then you could just send a tank or artillery shell in the first place retard.

why risk room clearing when you can simply go "hey shitass"?

Room clearing was a meme from GWOT--a police action, not an act of war. For some reason zoomies think it's a normal thing and don't realize just how unique and unusual it was. I blame video games for this.

When the drone drops on the ground the impact will set off payload

Why would you use a 100x more expensive method that puts personnel and expensive equipment at risk?

Yes FPV are very cheap. 150 gram fpv are in the $100 range. A little larger and you can have a very cheap 250g FPVs that carry a few grams of explosive in a mico grenade.

Closed door -> plant breaching charge on wall, floor, or ceiling, run away, detonate breaching charge, fly drone in.

Drone shot down -> send multiple drones, send drone(s) from opposite direction, plant amd detonate breaching charge under or above the enemy who has just revealed their location, put strobe light on drone to blind the enemy, etc.

Breaching charge might be placeable by ground drone if available.

It was dead the moment the grenade was born. And when the grenade launcher was born. And when the rocket launcher was born. And when the Recoilless Rifle was born.
