How hard of an impact on airpower does removing the capacity of CAS turning planes into glorified Jdam/Rocket carriers on a foe that keeps moving?

How much more effective are planes doing cas against ground forces compared to simply launching JDAM/rockets from 80kms away on a ground force on the move(IFV, Tanks) that are moving.

CAS isn't dependent on distance from the launch platform from the target, but rather the unit being supported to the target.

Bombs can have laser guidance and can receive guidance from infantry on the ground. Also, modern IRST systems have pretty serious range.

You use pre sighted locations, or lazer designation.

Future JDAMs will be lazered by spotter drones.
