What is the deal with adepts novasteel products? Seems to be a good idea, steel breastplate or cuirass and shoulder armor. It can be also uparmored or have a molle plackard.

Could this be usable with chest rig? Do some of you own one? Can bullet splatter harm you with this kind of armor?

The helmet ain't much better. Poor guy on reddit bought it cuz it looked cool in Tarkov, but the face guard (rated to 9mm) doesn't screw in right with the helmet and supplied hardware, so it keeps falling off.

It's advertised up to 9mm and .44 magnum, along with stab and slash protection. Weighs 9lb. It's twice as heavy as a good non-stab IIIA soft armor package from Safariland or Point Blank.
Adept is shady and most of their products are memeshit dressed up with buzzwords. No NIJ certs, no known real business address (the ones they have are shared with other companies), no given place of manufacture, apparently their plates don't even have labels either.
They test well on youtube (with compensated affiliates) and have some test reports, but they have nothing to show they make a consistent product.
Sadly, they tend to capture a lot of noobs with their flashy marketing.

1. Wear the hoplite plates and an inner belt.
2. Wear the Jinwudun skirt over the first belt.
3. Put 6x8" plates of your choosing on the sides of the Jinwudun skirt, then put 10x12" full size plates on the front and back using the XL version of THIS and some velcro-molle adapters:
