Go see for yourself on google maps - you can take a little tour of this area and you will see everything in spanish, there are money sending businesses, check cashing, easy mobile phone services, these are all to facilitate an illegal immigrant local economy.

Alvarado is the same street that passes by macarthur park, where ICE landed today with their newfound resources.

Now, I never go near these areas obviously. But to see the effects of federal immigration enforcement so quickly just makes me manic.
