It's factually true but the implications of "the rafale would win" is retarded, nobody knows but the Chinese long range air to air missiles are pretty good and this coupled with stealth would probably allow them to fire first. France has the meteor which was for a time considered the best bvr missile by armchair generals but the rafale radar is rather weak and only a few of them have the last french radar tech, people tend to forget all rafales are not the same, some are much closer to 4 gen than 4.5.
