The fact is the US can't accept a reunification and both RoC and PRC considers that there's only one China (blame mao and his cultural destruction for the current situation) but it's impossible to reunify both countries without damaging at least one system.
Meanwhile the US is there only to sow discord and destabilize the EA region.
