Reading about it made me smile.

No and it probably never will, the Christmas truce involved white men of a civilized background coming together during a temporary truce. There will never be anymore wars where there are civilized white people fighting each other

The Christmas Truce is ultra depressing for me because it was a clear sign from God that the brotherhood on was more real than the bullshit cassis belli the Elites of society had invented and the response of the major political powers was to crush it and punish those involved instead of repenting.

When the Christmas Truce didn’t result in a general armistice and a return to diplomacy, it was proof that our temporal leaders were now fully beholden to Satan, it was the death of western society, everything nice since has just been the dead cat bounce.

To add to that though it wasn't just White people, it was specifically British & German White people. The French largely didn't participate, because they hated the Germans. At that time, despite George V's irrational seething hatred for Germany, the British & German people still liked each other and recognized themselves as very closely related. Sadly, this was reduced somewhat by the war, and then further reduced due to even more self-destructive leaders like Winston Churchill, who managed to turn a Germany run by a fanatic Anglophile into an enemy.

It happened because the guys in the trenches had months of getting used to each other, having smaller truces (like "don't shoot a guy while he's shitting"), hearing each other's songs and callouts, and generally already having come to an agreement that they'd do their best to not kill each other as much as command would let them get away with. They understood that they were just a bunch of guys who didn't want to die for some bullshit.

Also, as >>63966654 stated, command immediately cracked down on that shit to make sure it never happened again.
