Yeah they're decent at reducing the effectiveness of basic HEAT ordnance.
Not sure if the losses sheet still gets updated but lots in the "damaged" category were hits where the tank just kept going.
Also the reason you don't remember seeing footage of it working is because people are less likely to publish footage of ineffective hits and also that there's usually multiple FPV hits per tank, and only the one that eventually disables/destroys the vehicle gets published (or sometimes they publish it getting hit with like four or five drones until it actually brews up).

Plenty of footage of it working against PG-7VMs, VSs and VLs. Anything tandem or even non-tandem but modern will go through

Its light ERA and old heavy ERA, it's designed to turn barely-lethal hits into non-lethal hits.
Most weapons nowadays go right through the ERA and the armor under it like a knife through butter.
At least the ERA helps with older munitions, glancing hits, and the heavy ERA prevents autocannons from penetrating.

It stops RPG-7 and similar-sized warheads, depending on what is behinid the ERA brick it even works against more modern tandem warheads to some degree.

If you want a specific example, there's a vid of a T-80 getting stopped by a panzerfaust 3 hit.
The hit blows off the idler and first roadwheel, shreds the front third of the track guard and immobilizes the tank because, well, the track is also blown off..
But the fighting compartment is not set on fire, the turret is not thrown. The crew got out.

Yes, ERA does deflect the angle and damages the projectile itself.
There is plenty of extremely autistic simulations online made to demonstrate the principle by employing the standard formula ERA(sim) = GF*0 + aut(ism)^2

There actually isn't. The ukro rebel youtube guy did test those but his aim was always off so test was inconclusive.
They do look very cool.
