Serious question : how will second amendment save you from a tyrannical government if dont own the machines to produce the bullets?

You can 3D print as many shitty rifles as you want, if you cant mass produce primers and smokeless powder, the feds will control the ammo supply and target/monitor everyone that knows how to produce them, supposing they can smuggle the chemicals to make any.

Are there any alternatives to machined bullets?

Either a few tens of thousands of rounds stockpiled is sufficient to get to a point where you can win, secure a fair amount territory and establish a new government including some production, or get foreign aid lines established, or else you lose. Primers aren't all that bad to produce, you won't make money, but in a pinch can be made in a basic home machine shop. Non corrosive primers are probably a no go, but mercury fulminate based primers are easy. Bullets aren't too bad if you've got some basic machine shop equipment to make bullet moulds and copper jacket dies. Brass can even be handled at the basic level if you want to set up a progressive group of extruding dies. Smokeless powder is probably doable, but I've really struggled to find recipe's for DIY versions. Cordite would probably be the easiest, the British made it work for quite a while.
