Putin didn't come to the table for peace talks the orange turd forgot how war works you have to make them come to the table. To do that they have to feel the need to so not arming Ukraine makes the war last longer. Trumps worst foreign policy has been not arming Ukraine more to get Russia to do a peace deal.

It goes both ways. Putin was so distracted he let Turkey and Israel take out Russia's two main allies in the middle east. So I think Trump was content to leave the war in the back burner while he racked up American wins in the ME. Now Ukraine is the top foreign policy concern in the U.S. when it wasn't before. I also think the European diplomacy has worked. They ensured Ukraine aid was counted towards the new 5% target for NATO, to create a win-win where the U.S. doesn't pay directly, Euros increase their spending, and Ukraine gets weapons. Unsurprisingly Putin overplayed his hand. Trump was offering the best peace he was going to get and Putin slow-rolled him.

He knew he was being played for 3 months, he just didn't want to strike out against his steppe boyfriend. It was Trump that was playing all of Europe and Ukraine by pretending to be having a brain blast (for the 7th time) that maybe perhaps Monke might be just wasting everyone's time.
Unfortunately for him, Monke has been making it very difficult to keep playing this charade through ever increasing rocket chimpouts, constant foaming at the mouth and not backing off even one inch its deranged, impossible demands. On top of that, the neocons apparently won over the isolationist retards in the party, again, just like in Trump's 1st term, as evidenced by the Iran bombing

I've been saying this since the very beginning, the only people who are capable of ruining the dream scenario they found themselves in after Trump won... are the Russians themselves, through their infinite arrogance and delusions of grandeur

Except;

1. You won't give Ukraine what they actually need to push Russia out
2. You won't give Ukraine enough of anything you do actually give
3. You won't actually hurt Russia with tariffs and sanctions (despite saying multiple times since Jan you would)
4. You're already charging them for it, thus extremely limited on what they can do

If you can't force Russia out (because you either won't get involved or because you refuse to hand over amounts that will make a difference) then make it financially worse for them. But you won't. This is the thing, Russia can keep on going because if you take away DoorDash and Netflix from the West they'll be upset and protest - but if you've never had it you can't lose it. Russia is genius in that way. If you've always been shit, hardship doesn't matter because it's just another day ending in Y. Even if the population was pushed to the point that any normal society could take, they won't do anything because Putin has locked everything down. There is no way to actually beat Russia without direct involvement and that won't happen OR giving Ukraine thousands of vehicles and non-meme aircraft (even Block 70/72 F-16s would be good). All Ukraine can do is make Russia advance slowly. Men and materiel keeps arriving from Russia and they don't care about the cost, only that map turns red.

Basically, Trump really wanted a peace deal for the prestige, and jewtin kept sweet-talking him and then proceeding to attack civilians, and Trump was getting pissed at it and he's finally lost his shit because he knows jewtin's just stringing him along and has no real interest in a deal. Plus the Russians did goofy shit like sending some faggot historian to a diplomatic meeting with Marco Rubio to ramble about 1250 AD. Substations and control centers for rail networks. Everything runs through Moscow. Knock out the ability of freight to move on rail, bottle neck all the aid from China and Best Korea and all the shipments of goods to everything in Siberia. They can either build an entirely new railroad (which surely won't have any corruption) or deal with the logistics nightmare of offloading everything to trucks, moving it around the city, and loading it back onto rail. Also TPP because fuck the muscovites, knocking out power to the wealthy neighborhoods will do more damage to Putin than a million dead mobiks.

>buddy monke
Probably quite a lot of things contributing to Trump not being that enamored with Putin anymore.
>First, Trump gave concessions to Putin early and expected something back, which never materialised except for some history lessons from Putin. Melania may also have had an effect on Trump perceiving Putin as bullshitting and stalling.
>Even if it's just for his own image, I believe Trump wants the war to end and went into negotiations in good faith, even if ready to throw some of Ukraine under the buss if Putin actually gave him something. Putin gave nothing.
>Zelensky shat the bed early, but then gave everything Trump asked for quickly afterwards and managed to stabilise the situation. Both Ukraine and NATO has been buttering up Trump since. Zelensky and Trump are not friends, but it seems they have found an understanding.
>Rubio also took a hit from that debacle, but Hegseth blundering twice now may have given some influence back to Rubio's little gang. Him being natsec advisor and state secretary may have been just for show, but if he now also has Trump's ear it may become real influence on policy.
>The relatively successful strike against Iran boosted Trump's confidence. Me thinks the strike wasn't the idea of MAGA diehards, it smells neocon all the way, but it clearly shows that the hawks have some influence
>NATO allies are re-armimg according to Trump's wish for 5%. They are allowed to include Ukraine aid into that spending goal, so the importance of Ukraine was made clear. This compromise would at least indicate that the Trump admin recognises that Ukraine is a NATO affair and act accordingly.
But don't listen to what came to me in a dream.

Bad comparison: Imperial Japan was already completely defeated militarily, and that's before considering the massively different political system Ukraine has.

Do you really think everyone is just going to shrug at the nuclear taboo being broken and say "not my problem" as if there are no long term consequences in doing so? Literally nobody wants that shit to happen with possible exception of Iran.

Plus the Russians did goofy shit like sending some faggot historian to a diplomatic meeting with Marco Rubio to ramble about 1250 AD. Jewtin should have come to the table seriously when he had a chance, he could have walked away with Crimea and no sanctions.
Fundamentally, Trump also hates to LOOK weak. He is a pretty weak man overall, and getting weaker as age takes its inevitable ever bigger toll, but he doesn't like that rubbed in his face in a way that's embarrassing. He's got a showy gangster face saving mindset. He doesn't have much in the way of values either.

So monke has chumped him over and over again and dashed his hopes to look cool and in a really flagrant way that makes it look like he's the bitch. Because he has, indeed, been the bitch. Now that's he's (very slowly, but finally) cottoning onto that he's mad, and since he has no real values here he's completely fine instantly reversing himself and casting blame which he's good at. And the Ukrainian leadership aren't retards and are ready to play that up as much as they can given the opportunity, flatter him, and give him the chance to look cool, they won't hesitate for a moment to spam how

>If Trump is really mad, why did he delay the tariffs on russia again?
He's been doing that everywhere. He loves threatening stupendous tariffs to get things he wants and has regularly failed to follow through, because once he does he can't shake the stick and has to actually deal with the pricing. Some areas actually have gotten for real significant tariff increases, but a lot of others got quietly dropped or delayed and then delayed yet again.

Also, we know there are tons of competing forces in his administration and lots of zigger loving faggots, everyone is trying to pull him various ways and since he's weak, loves praise, and lacks principle (and is fucking old) he tends to just dither and shift in the wind. This is normal enough for this admin, as much as anything can be. But any weapons that get shipped are shipped, having the last person he talked to change his mind later this year won't unship them.

Nigga everyone went in good faith to the negotiation table, yet monke kept throwing the dumbest excuses like being scared Zelensky will beat him and then he kept chimping out, not even military targets but cities, block apartments, churches during holidays, al-qaeda behaviour, he may have ensured international recognition over Crimea and maybe a slice of Donbass, even soviets played that book of asking a lot and then being content of getting a fraction, but no, he needed show they are a military power and fucked over everyone from a former fellow country to EU, POTUS and even the Third World food supplies, this entire disaster is on Russia.

All of them were generally not too bad for Russia, most of them were usually very bad for Ukraine. Get the fuck out, take your broke dick army and go home or you're getting wiped out economically and military aid flowing into Ukraine at probably much higher levels.

Retard. If Russia uses nukes offensively for invasion and gets away with it, then every single country on the planet has to have nuclear weapons, NPT is dead. And there are ton of them in a position to sprint for them, Japan and South Korea could have simple nukes in a matter of months for example. Even those that can't make their own could potentially buy them from others, I can easily see Pakis exploiting a big new arms market and ME countries have plenty of money to pay tens/hundreds of millions per bomb. Nukes will spread worldwide, which also means the odds of further use (or them getting into the hands of non-state actors) sky rockets. It'd be a fucking nightmare.

Which certainly doesn't mean it won't happen. But you're in total cope denial about the incentives involved, or that the West would have any need to do NUCLEAR retaliation, there is plenty of conventional firepower to obliterate Russia easily. If Russia then nuked the West, well now it's a direct nuclear attack scenario. Even the poos and bugs would have to think hard about continuing to support Russia in light of that scenario, they have as much or more to lose than the US from nuclear proliferation. And if they cut Russia off, Russia would be fucked even without attacks in very short order.

Unfortunately that's not much better. None of that was constructed with international military transports in mind, quite the opposite. At the moment it takes a military transport from France 2 weeks to reach the border with Russia. The EU needed 70 billion to revamp its infrastructure for military transports for 2021-2027, but spent 1.7 billion instead. There are plenty of articles with lots more details if this is your topic: https://www.epc.eu/publication/eu-defence-series-military-mobility-a-critical-enabler/

Friendly reminder that except for (unfortunately) Ukraine this war is going absolutely perfectly:

>Russian threat massively downgraded with no end in sight to their diminishment and humiliation
>Russian arms sales, reputation and stockpiles permanently degraded
>NATO expansion and rearmament
>The end of Russia as a naval power
>Dead Russians everywhere, large scale internal instability ensured as soon as Putin is gone
>Norks benefitting in every imaginable way
>Russia dependent on literally the worse nation on earth to have power over you
>US defense industry hugely boosted
>Fresh vegetables for the Choson and fat stacks of gold for Kim
>Russian oil and gas exports to Europe being replaced by US
>Norks get free oil
>US/RoK get real world data on the actual capabilities of Nork weapons
>Iran and Syria deleted as relevant actors
>Drone kino delivered daily

Besides Ukraine why would anyone want this war to end? Yes it sucks for them but otherwise this war is the best damn thing to happen to the western world, the PRC and DPRK since the end of the cold war. If you don't live in Kyiv then this is going great and the longer it lasts the better for everyone who matters.

Besides Ukraine obviously.

A Worst Korean actually talked about this. They don't really want to send military aid to kill Norks because at the end of the day they are still both Koreans and they don't really see the North as a existential threat.

Over all the sales the RoK are making both currently and post war will benefit them greatly, any benefits the North will get will be more than offset by increased RoK capacities. Broadly speaking the war helps them as well.

American nuclear doctrine makes a first strike against Moscow highly likely following an attack like that. The reasoning is that we won't allow anyone to open up a nuclear Pandora's Box that leads to minor nations nuking each other nonstop. If we strike them in retaliation for them nuking a third party, Ukraine or otherwise, we send a message to China and everyone else. You can debate all you want whether we would actually annihilate Russia for this, but the fact of the matter is that it is a serious risk.

Don't know why they would think that, i'm in northern Maine and we grow grapes. I'm on a mountain top and i have a few vines.

Fun fact: ALL European grapes are technically American grapes, their entire industry was nearly wiped out by blight until they figured out that if you graft them to North American rootstocks then they can survive.

Also Scandinavia has a tiny relic population of 1000 year old new world grapes, they descend from seeds brought back by Erikson since one of the cargos they brought back from Canada/New England was raisins.

Correct, however New World grapes are different enough that they are a separate (but closely related) species. Did you know that Cauliflower, brussel sprouts ect are all the same plant, they just have freakishly variable cultivars?

>>63988045
Also correct. Sadly until recently native North American grapes as wine has been ignored, they were almost exclusively used as poverty food or root stocks. They ones i'm growing are a very specific Newfoundland breed that can take -30 and they take a while to establish. Interestingly they do very well paired with crab apple trees.

Melons are supposed to be 90% seeds. You cook/pickle the rind like cucumbers and roast the seeds and eat them. The rind is supposed to be used as fresh fruit and you store the seeds. Westerners literally have them backwards, African melons are just huge seed balls with almost no pulp.

Is that what trump and epstein were doing with those little girls?

All that aside, the reasoning is that its just such a shift in tone from trump. He went from cutting off ukraine from weapons already in europe to maybe tomahawks in about a week. Of course people are wondering what set this off.

That's because he's an idiot with very few positive things to be said about him, not because I'm inherently against him.

A normal-IQ person would have figured out months ago that Putin was stringing him along and bullshitting him during every phone call and laughing behind his back.

You could hit government and military admins buildings, but I want to see the Ukies start blowing up daschas. Not only because it would be funny, but because it's the most effective way to make Putin('s friends) feel the war personally without directly terrorizing the populace in a way that would immediately backfire by galvanizing them against Ukraine. Naturally the media would still try to spin it as a terror attack, but I think even the Russians would silently recognize that type of attack for what it is.

>All that aside, the reasoning is that its just such a shift in tone from trump
For those of us who make deals, it's not surprising at all. If Z is ready to sit down and P is not, you have to create leverage to bring P to the table. Long range percision fires is that leverage. Watch, if this doesn't work Trump will announce something ridiculous like a $1T weapons package to Ukraine or F35's or something crazy like that. He needs P to sit down and make a serious offer, and to do that he needs leverage.

Shrimple as that. Painfully obvious. Called it months ago

Mineral deal and Ukranians are ready to accept a deal. That's progress. Russians are now seen as the party who are the obstacle to peace. That's progress. Ending a four year war with roots that go back to the Russian civil war is no easy task. Let him cook.

Those who didn't realize it 3 years ago are either retarded or so deep in russian propaganda it's coming out their ass.

He accused Z of being a dictator (he's never said that of putin, despite the fact he's effectively been in power for 25 fucking years)
He accused Ukraine of starting the war ("you should have never started it")
When the war started he said Putin was a "genius". And when Putin declared Luhansk and Donets independent he said "that's wonderful"
He halted aid
He extorted natural resources from a country at war
He's a fucking nigger, and he spent the first 6 months of his second term spreading his cheeks wide open for Putin, making an ass of himself and getting nothing in return. Great fucking deal making. Looking real tough and strong against a potential forever ally and looking like a cuck against your geopolitical enemy. Masterful stroke, really.

Even if the list also had democrat notables? Because if you know what company Trump was keeping at that time, if he went to cunny island it would have been with his BFF Bill Clinton.

There is no way that the list wouldnโ€™t include powerful men on both sides of the aisle, which is why Trumpโ€™s promise to release the list was always a good fucking joke, and a product of his tendency to promise things thoughtlessly.
