My personal opinion is that Americans are way too well armed for anything to "pop off". If we disagree with someone here, we just say so, and leave it at that. I loved taking 300s because they’re rwd and the steering column locks pretty tight as soon as you pick them up, so you can just grab and go if they’re parked front in with your auto loader and strap it down when you get a few blocks away. I did a bit of a deep dive on barrel construction a couple weeks ago. It seems like QPQ barrels are pretty goated, even if they aren’t CHF or chrome lined. I was putting together this 16” and wound up buying a SOLGW CHF QPQ barrel for it. I only bothered with CHF because this will probably get some FRT use. I have a buddy that absolutely shills noveske barrels, but it just seems like a waste of 500-700 bucks.

Sorry if this has been asked already but I don’t constantly lurk here so you’ll have to excuse me.

What’s the consensus on FRTs? Is it a meme like bump stocks or binary triggers?

More and more recently I've been coming around to the concept of "usable history" and the understanding it's not always done in bad faith or for nefarious reasons, and really all history is "usable" history as there's always a historical evidence we see as "relevant" and see as "irrelevant".
