>M70B1 had the 1.5mm receiver (same as OPAP) for grenade launching. And the GL gas block for a B1. Receiver size isn't relevant to the B3 designation.
You're still missing a bayo lug, but the OPAP would be the M70B3N.
That's an opinion since it's not an official designation anyway. But it is based off of the list of the designations and extrapolating the -N from the Yugos with a side rail, as most of the basic M70 variants didn't have an optic mount.
>I could be wrong though its hard to find a good source on receiver thicknessI'm not even sure there is a source for that beyond what people online measure them at, as it's not in any specs except maybe blueprints; as far as I know.
I could also be wrong, though.
>Apparently all bulged trunnion Yugos are 1.5mm receivers, from what I could find.
>>63981187>>63990451>Lemme know if you find a good source, it soothes my Yugo autismAlso, how much do you want?

>>63990441 (OP)Hey guy who bought the OKP, how is it?
When did kusa start using Morissey receivers and Green Mountain barrels? Or was it like that from the beginning?
>>63990455Oh hell yeah, outstanding thanks anon Iโll read through it in the morning. Post as much as you can. Is there a decent way to scan books? I want to digitize the unobtanium shit like AK-47 The Grim Reaper
>>63990635>Post as much as you canI only did a few, because I'm not totally happy with how the words towards the "valley" of the book bend.
But I'll dump a few.
>Is there a decent way to scan booksFuck if I know, I'm winging it.
The free app is CamScanner. It does a pretty decent job, but i need a "cradle" of sorts apparently to avoid the blurs towards the spine.
>like this but WAY less high techFound an instructable on a cardboard stand I may try, but ironically I currently have none on hand at least of the size I would need.

Yugobros should I snag a M70, M70 underfolder, or M92? I'm leaning toward the M92 so I can SBR it with an underfolder later.
Wednesday my dudes. WASRCHADS unite! Got a 19 on the autism thing and I find myself wondering what the best muzzle device for an oil filter is. Because believe it or not, they don't make 14x1L oil filters. Crazy right.
>>63990612I mean does it really matter? I'd dare say the only manufacturer making in house stuff is probably psa

>>63993254Holy fuck you're either blind or dumb.
That sling has a longer clip/latch/whatever than a surplus one, you can clearly see it at the other end near the front of the rifle. You can see the clip/latch/whatever near the pistol grip. The reason it's right there is because the sling loop is directly above the pistol grip on the receiver.

>>63994742>>63994746>>63995028I was trying to find photos of a bulged M92 in service. Supposedly the M92 is used by Serbian special forces, but I could only find photos of them with M4s. It may be analogous to the AK-104 in Russia where it's mainly used by SWAT for clearing rooms, and mercs who carry it for CQB along with an AK-74 for longer range engagements.
>>63995591>bulged M92 in serviceI'm not sure you're gonna find that.
I could be completely wrong, but I think the bulged trunnion version is an export only model.
All the M92s I have seen in the "wild" are slab side.
>>63995869Yeah I wish they kept the slabside model for the US market and just chrome-lined the barrels. The beefed-up heavier receiver is pointless on a semi-auto 7.62x39 pistol. I guess theoretically it would hold up better if you did repeated super safe magdumps with a baffle can like a Wolverine on it.

>>63997452Whats the difference between this and serbshit excepting bulged trunions, 1.5mm stamped receiver, and adjustable gas settings?
>>63997462I love Serbshit, I got my brother an M70 for Christmas. I donโt have a AK myself and just want something more traditional looking. Is the M90 that much better than the WBP?

>>63997574>AK clones>reverse engineered by eyeballing itWhat exactly is the difference?
One having TDP and the other having multiple examples to measure and duplicate?
Yugoslavia had Russian AKs to go off of, so it's not eyeballed as much as redesigned to accommodate Tito's requirements.
>>63997677Any one will work but there is a specific one for yugo underfolders too with a nice lil shelf for your thumb.
>>63997686>what's the difference Quite a lot. Pistol grips are interchangeable though!

>>63997699God that century grip was so shit. Before I really knew about AKs, the OPAP was my first rifle. I left that grip on for way too long lol
>>63997721You can get 7n6 for less

I doubt you'll even notice a disruption in availability unless everybody panic buys until they're gone and their pause is still in effect.
>Then I think they'll take the Arsenal approach and start raising prices until they can keep stock while still selling enough to pay for shit/still profit. But the only good time to buy an AK was yesterday, so if you want one; buy it when it's available.
Anybody have any experience with the Palmetto State AK 103s? I've heard that PSA AKs kinda suck, especially in the accuracy department, but I'd like to get something cheap to scratch the itch, provided it's not a total piece of junk.

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1111480276
>>63998091I have no experience with the 103 specifically but my GF5 is my most accurate AK. Itโs approaching 5k rounds and the only problem I had was with the firing pin which seemed to have been a problem with the run of AKs at that time. I replaced it with an arsenal firing pin and itโs worked since. The gas tube lever is also loose compared to my other rifles but not as loose as Iโve seen some people get. From what I understand the 7.62x39 guns from PSA are pretty much figured out. I donโt quite trust it the same way I trust my imports but itโs worked fine so far and wear seems normal. Be warned however that if you want to change the furniture PSA spec is weird as fuck and seems to require a lot more fitting.
I was just watching a Mishaco video, and it was driving me crazy with how he was dragging his hands around the gun. In my head I was screaming, "STOP. I'M TRYING TO LOOK AT THE GUN; GET YOUR HANDS OUT OF THE WAY." Then it hit me. He's blind. wtf I'm rarted

Speaking of underfolders, does anyone have the weight of a kit build/OG M70AB2? Really want an yugo underfolder, but jesus christ do I hate the side rail on the new imports.
But if getting a kit built turns out to be the same weight because of the grenade sights, probably shouldn't bother. Especially since that weight would be out front.
>>63999409As a note, it does make the gun slightly wider than it it had a proper UF Receiver.

>>64012016I think they got the last shipment of WBP parts a couple weeks ago. Maybe they're only getting parts kits.
>>64011515so has a single person tested them yet?
>>64012276I have, they fucking suck dick lel. Shattered feed lips and cracked body, its made in korea plastic ak mags. KCI steel mags suck too.
>>64011408NTA but it's nice seeing fresh images I haven't seen before (or haven't seen in years if I have) in high quality.
>>64011515They look good from a distance but up close look bad if you look at it for more than 5 seconds. They use the KCI followers with the funny rubber piece on them. The paint looks good from about 2 feet away; the color is weirdly just off enough to notice and the grain is almost too fine and sparse, not to mention zero depth. Also they use stupidly thin metal baseplates in a weirdly eggshell/satin finish instead of the low gloss of a real thicker mag baseplate (compared to my East German 5.45). The whole thing smells like a semi-quality Chinese airsoft knockoff; looks good from afar. It's a shame because when I saw them at a local store I thought they looked really good until I got closer and took a minute to examine one. I also doubt they use metal reinforcing like the real bake mags but I could be wrong. What someone REALLY needs to do at a magazine manufacturing company is research how to use multiple colors of plastic in an injection mold to swirl colors of nylon pellets and mold magazines with multiple carefully selected pellet colors. This is NOT a hard thing to do as Remington was doing it in 1959 (nylon), Stevens was doing it with Tenite in the late 30s/early 40s, and Daisy had done it through the 90s (nylon?). It isn't something that has been forgotten nor was it something so technical and difficult it took forever to get it ready for use in production. I would buy a couple at the least. Make some 20s too.

>>64011908I have had zero issues with the wolverine on any of my guns. AFAIK, it takes a very fucked up AK to actually cause that can to have problems. The bigger thing is tuning. On this gun, supers were way overgassed to the point of failure with the original piston. Put in kns and it runs great but now won't cycle subs all the way open because not enough gas. Meanwhile, my KR-103 cycles both great with factory piston because the gas port is smaller. Go figure.
>>64010065I expected more pushback on the Black paint lol. Halfdong is an acquired taste if you know what I mean.

>>64012642This thing is very good. KUSA got a lot of deserved hate, but I bought this off a friend and have been very pleased. Pic is old so missing piggyback dot, but you get the idea. >>64012642>AFAIK, it takes a very fucked up AK to actually cause that can to have problems. My Dracoโs concentricity actually is that bad, which is why Iโm looking at buying an M92 lol
>On this gun, supers were way overgassed to the point of failure with the original piston. Put in kns and it runs great but now won't cycle subs all the way open because not enough gas.Are you using Brown Bear or PPU subs? SGAmmo says that PPU 182gr subs wonโt cycle in gas guns. I was wondering if I could get them to work in an M92 with a Wolverine and KNS reduced power recoil spring.
>>64014351AKs really were the most fun guns you could shoot back when all the animal ammo brands were plentiful and cheap. We didnโt know how good we had it.
>>64014381I've shot my Wolverine on a friend's ZPAP, my WASR, and my ((10)) kit build 74 and only checked the concentricity of the ZPAP - no issues at all. Fun can even if it is heavy.
>>64014381>>64014418Oh I should mention, 7.62 subs didn't cycle in my WASR or his ZPAP without tuning the gas, like you had as well.
>>64014351Similar to
>>64014381, I want to say that there's so many boxes I wanted to buy which were stupid plentiful just a few years ago. That blue red and white Hunting Rifle Ammunition box sticks out to me specifically as well as the box with the guy shooting seated on the bottom left. A guy used to set up locally with crates of rifle mags, some pistol mags, gun accessories, and a shit ton of flat plastic veggie/fruit crates of ammo. Just everything and anything. There was always a ton of Wolf and those other two I mentioned above as well as so many random boxes of 22 you've never seen your fucking head would spin. Everything was affordable, in good shape, and brand name, too, for the most part (except some of the wild ammo mfgs). I had no idea how good I had it and if I knew how shit it'd get I'd have made some more money somewhere and bought half his stock.

>>64014351What was Golden Bear like?
>>64014381Even with the reduced recoil spring and the gas on the kns all the way up, PPU subs, Atomic subs, and hornady subs will not cycle reliably on mine. Allegedly the default piston and the light recoil spring will cycle them but then you have no way to tune for supers.

>>64018846You can, it's just annoying to do so.
I'd rather just get a 2nd bolt carrier and swap bolts between them. Bolt carrier has little/nothing to do with headspace and isn't a pressure bearing part.
>>64018846Mine was an early model and came riveted. I had a gun smith drill it out and rivet the kns in. It's really great for supers but now I'm trapped. Not ideal but whatever. >>64018881>Bolt carrier has little/nothing to do with headspace and isn't a pressure bearing partThis is what google has told me in the past. Makes sense. I still obviously have not taken the plunge. I've also done this backwards. Obviously ideal would be stock bcg/piston and new bcg/kns.

>>64027842As another anon pointed out that was also when 7n6 cost less than 22lr. Now 5.56 is the cheap round.
>>64028331>>64028758I own a Beryl, the sole reason I got it was it was the closest thing to an AK-74. The M90 is some..thing that was never adopted on a large scale (like seriously pic related is the only photo I have ever seen in the hands of someone), it is Yugo pattern which most people avoid just because of that, finally it is comically heavy for a stamped AK. Also this is much the same reasons nobody wants a SAM5- heavy for what it is, doesn't take standard furniture, + woefully expensive for what you get.
So this gets back to my point, nobody has made an AKS-74.
