waterfowl-hunter-with-gun-a-hunter-in-camouflage-hunting-on-ducks-in-summer-or-autumn-season
One single boomer fudd strategically placed in each Ukrainian trench position and Russian FPV drones would immediately cease being a threat

Thinking you'd be able to easily shoot down drones with basic bitch firearms is unironically the fuddest of fudd takes

Isn't that pretty much what they're doing?
I heard ukies are stretched thin and russians keep constantly probing. When it goes bad for them we get funny TZD footage when ukraine doesn't respond in time they get 10m2

Not a bad start, but it needs to be mag fed, for quick reload. Yes, tube means you can top up, but loading more than a couple shells is way slower than just slapping a fresh mag in.

Those drones don't hover in one place and don't fly on predictable trajectories like birds, nor do they fly as slow. Stop coping, you've never seen an actual drone IRL.

So nothing has changed since 2022, except for the tens of thousands of destroyed Russian vehicles and hundreds of thousands of dead Russian soldiers

literally any component being hit besides a glancing blow to the frame fucks it in some way
>hit to the motor jams the motor, possibly bends the shaft, fucks the motor
>hit to the motor wires severs it, 1/3 wires being severed no longer allows the ESC to control it
>hit to the ESC disables the motor just as surely as the previous two
>solid hit to the frame breaks it
>hit to a propeller blade doesn't instakill the drone, but it causes terrible vibrations that turn the video feed to soup and make the controls feel funky
>hit to the FPV camera or video transmitter cuts the video out, drone operators usually do not go within line of sight of their target so this effectively turns the drone into a dumb bomb that will fall in a random direction
>hit to the flight controller is instant lights out, every other component talks to the FC and it's like hitting the brain of an animal
>hit to any of the multiple antennas on a drone will cut out or severely degrade the control link and/or video feed
>hit to the battery causes voltage to rapidly drop, giving the drone seconds of controlled flight left
the only saving grace of a suicide FPV is it usually has a big warhead on the bottom, which may or may not protect many of the electronics in the middle but the rest is fair game

decades of duck hunting have unironically helped prepare me for the dji satan. ducks fly fast, erratic paths and being quick to adjust is vital to a successful hunt.
