Would it be doable to put the redundacy built into BBs inside a tank?

what exactly do you mean? gun controls already have redundancy, same with gun sights.

tanks already have independent sights and gun controls for the gunner and commander. can't really stick more tracks on a tank without making it needlessly heavy and complex.
