That’s an odd post man. I do wear these glasses and sunglasses all the time. I paid out of pocket direct from manufacturer, the length of arm and bridge are fairly custom and they will gold plate it for you in their office. I daily a 1964 Corvair. I don't use a holster. I just make sure my drawstring is tight and in the last decade it's never failed.

I need a recommendation for a brighter light. It must have a tail switch, deep carry pocket clip, small enough to daily carry, and it shouldn't be too easy to accidentally turn on in the pocket.

Corvair didn't sell so there was no reason to make them when V8 musclecars existed (though flipping the transaxle after flipping the ring gear made for some fun mid-engine conversions).

The drivetrain was reliable but the rest of the car was typical contemporary GM crap including the useless VW-style heater. They go cheap if you want to collect 'em.

Well you need to remember gas was cheap, and what happened in the 70’s? Gas crisis which let to the shitboxes like the Vega. Which was worse than the corvair by leagues. “Contemporary GM crap” sounds biased. Everything on mine has held up very well and I’ve only had to replace the wear parts.

There are still digital compacts that are way better than a phone but they're not cheap. The Sony RX100 series are the gold standard these days but the current VII model is $1700. I have a III that's nearly a decade old and it's still better than my iPhone 16 Pro in some ways, especially if you're shooting RAW and not letting the phone do all of its AI trickery to the photos. (Which admittedly does work, it just severely limits your ability to control the look of the photo or do your own editing after the fact.)

Great minimal setup. Reasonable draw, very comfortable. I've tried just about everything, and for a grab & go easy choice gun, it's hard to beat a 32 snubbie with a holster grip.
