"Production Rates for the “Geran” Drones Revealed
A Russian manufacturer is rolling out thousands of Geran‑2 kamikaze drones. The production pace was disclosed by Timur Shagivaleev, CEO of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, during an appearance on the Military Reception program.
“This is the largest strike-drone factory in the world- and also the most secret. (…) Originally, the plan was to produce a few thousand Gerans; now we’re building nine times more than we’d intended,” the CEO said.
The Geran‑2 uses a tailless aerodynamic design. At about three meters long, it carries a warhead weighing up to 90 kilograms. The drone is powered by a 50‑horsepower internal‑combustion engine that lets it reach speeds of up to 170 kilometers per hour."

I remember someone asking in this thread how much the Russians actually produce, and we learned that UVZ- the world’s largest and most productive tank plant - makes in three months as much artillery ammunition as all of NATO does in a year (source: Mark Rutte). Now we’ve found out that Russia is cranking out so many strike drones that there’s even enough left over for export.
