"Production Rates for the “Geran” Drones Revealed
A Russian manufacturer is rolling out thousands of Geran‑2 kamikaze drones. The production pace was disclosed by Timur Shagivaleev, CEO of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, during an appearance on the Military Reception program.
“This is the largest strike-drone factory in the world- and also the most secret. (…) Originally, the plan was to produce a few thousand Gerans; now we’re building nine times more than we’d intended,” the CEO said.
The Geran‑2 uses a tailless aerodynamic design. At about three meters long, it carries a warhead weighing up to 90 kilograms. The drone is powered by a 50‑horsepower internal‑combustion engine that lets it reach speeds of up to 170 kilometers per hour."

I remember someone asking in this thread how much the Russians actually produce, and we learned that UVZ- the world’s largest and most productive tank plant - makes in three months as much artillery ammunition as all of NATO does in a year (source: Mark Rutte). Now we’ve found out that Russia is cranking out so many strike drones that there’s even enough left over for export.
Key Features of the Geran‑2:
- AI autopilot with autonomous targeting
- Infrared thermal‑imaging camera
- CRPA antenna for electronic‑warfare resistance
- FPV mode with PTZ camera and 4G live feed via adversary cellular networks and Telegram
Key specs: top speed up to 180km/h(≈112mph); range 1,800–2,500km(≈1,120–1,550mi); operating altitude 60–4,000m(≈200–13,120ft); wingspan ≈2.5m(≈8.2ft)
They're slow, the warhead sucks dick, the shootable surface area is massive, and Ukraine shoots down >90% every day and has been working on mass producing interceptors for them for a while now. Russians fucked up big time choosing Shaheds of all things to invest billions of dollars into
>>64011583It’s a well‑established fact that they inflict massive destruction on Ukrainian infrastructure. So your post doesn’t make any sense. You are far from really understanding the situation (noob).

>Originally, the plan was to produce a few thousand Gerans; now we’re building nine times more than we’d intended,” the CEO said.
the contract for that factory will be:
3k times 9 = 27k (low end)
6k times 9 = 54k (high end)
>>64011595>403/426 Shaheds shot down today, 203 via just EWThey suck cock. Stick to Iskanders
>>64011605Which battles has Russia lost? Kursk? Toretsk? Avdiivka?
>counters your shaheed wunderwaffle
Now what?
Look, citizen-- we are DOING something!
Arent our Ram1500 launch trucks impressyiev? Sanctions evaded!!!
Yes by all means, continue pouring resources into the explodey lawnmowers.
Ukraine will exchange your lawnmower strikes for more Russian generals, oil refineries, strategic bombers, ammo stockpiles, and chemical plants.
>>64011613Unironically whatever the fuck this thing is (they probably received like 5) is probably going to be lancet food in a week. You don't want to use something big slow and expensive for something small and cheap, especially with missiles and drones flying everywhere, that's retarded.
You want too use large amounts of relatively cheap and effective things, like the interceptors Ukraine already uses to shoot down Shaheds as we speak
>>64011612Kyiv, both battles of Kharkiv, Sumy, Kherson, and let's not forget that Pokrovsk was supposed to fall a year ago and Kursk started with a russian rout and lasted months longer than expected with very limited UA troop saturation and a NK intervention. Russians fight like thirdies and achieve thirdie results against one of the poorest countries in Europe.
>>64011608i'd take ukraine's ad claims with a large grain of salt. (they're lying.)
>>64011622It's a SkyNex station by Rheinmetall, tourist.
>>64011631If that was true then we would be seeing hundreds of aftermath vids/pics.
>>64011632I could tell it was something Rheinmetall by the turret shape, I just don't care. Like I said, it is not a good solution for Shaheds and is just a big expensive target for guided explosives. Ukraine has a simpler and less retarded version called Sky Sentinel

Non-nuclear terror bombing never works.
kek this shill waited all these days when barely any sneeds were flying to make this thread hahahaha
Looking forward to these getting forgotten in a month

How many Gepards were destroyed by your wonder weapons so far? Zero
>>64011657In fairness, one was damaged two years ago, but it was caught in transit, while its radar was stowed.

>>64011668That video without aftermath? Yeah I belive.
>>64011684I don't trust any lancet strike in general.
The warhead is so dogshit that we have confirmation it can't even penetrate a pzh2000 roof
>>64011673>lancetsholy shit there's still shills who remember this wonderwaffle lmaaao
>>64011680What does Skynex do when there are more than 10 Shaheds?
100?
1000?
10000?
A million?
Can Rheinmetall pump out a thousand of them to Ukraine? Cause I fucking doubt it unless Skynex has advanced teleportation abilities.
It's just not worth it. Too much money and development for something that does too little. That is what you need to get through your head
