Nope, honestly, it has been 100% reliable. Another pistol that has never let me down is the USP. I'd say, in terms of "Can I trust this gun?" the 19x and the USP are both top tier handguns. Of course, my sample size is not that great. I go to the range once a month and I usually fire about 2-3 boxes for any gun that I bring. So my 19x has maybe 6-7 thousand rounds through it.

My pick would've been the M&P 2.0. It's a solid gun, probably second only to Glock in terms of track record, and unlike the Glock it's got the modular grip panels etc. that the Army wanted along with a better manual safety design and it just would've felt right for the US military to carry an American gun.

Indeed, but isn't IDF standard protocol to just have all the low level grunts/conscripts carry without a loaded chamber? Last I checked they're very strict about that in fears that the lowest common denominator will ND somehow.

Makes me wonder what the fate of all those surp P320's is gonna be, I suspect they'll just be used as range training pistols and intentionally beat to hell so they can switch to something new an not garbage as soon as possible.
