This wouldn't work very well. The latency would be crazy bad, even with a proper setup. Not only would you need to deal with control lag, but also poor internet connection quality. The only way this could work is to only use it as a passive surveillance solution. For anything else it would be a complete waste of a drone (and some retarded anons time).

This is autist bait, they have no reason to have their weapons development be done by fat spergs who don't speak their language with zero combat experience but a ton of preconceived ideas about it who most likely don't have the technical skills to do anything other than testing. They have the veterans for, they have the trustworthy personnel for testing, the only thing they might lack is engineers. That's the only kind of manpower they could possibly be looking for, so if you don't have an engineering degree they'll probably reject your application. If they don't, you're headed for the trenches.

as for comms, there are specific testing grounds where you get every jammer / interference device imaginable
and a few build up structures out of different materials you'd find all over the world
only the French have one of these in Europe afaik
alternatively test inside a lab, technically you can simulate any kind of interference possible
