Literally no one >18 has that, whether you've ever shot a gun even once in your life or not. All of us have degraded hearing over time, with high freq going first. Too much noise exposure >80 dB accelerates that over time but there is no doctor who told you you have confirmed "perfect hearing" dude. I'd say "nice try" but you didn't really try that hard.

A typical centerfire gun is 155-175 dB bare, depending on caliber, barrel length etc. The absolute maximum theoretical possible earpro reduction is ~40dB at 2 kHz (because that's all your skull can do), but in practice nobody gets that even with doubling up. ~30 NRR is more realistic. The industry loves to pretend that "<140 dB = hearing safe" but that's horse shit, that's merely the point of definite instant hearing damage. So if you're hunting in an open field and make one shot in a day at <140dB then sure, but that's not how most people shoot and practice most of the time. And suppressors can get guns below that anyway.

If you're using a far more realistic and conservative estimate like NIOSH's and take into account the real world (shooting indoors or next to hard surfaces, shooting multiple mags in a session, etc), then no single thing by itself is good enough. What you seem to not understand is you can combine both. 20-30 dB from a suppressor + 20-30 dB from earpro, or suppressor + full burn subsonic or earpro + full burn subs, NOW you're getting to genuinely hearing safe territory.

I have a 940 with 28 inch barrel and an M4 with an 18.5 inch barrel and I shoot perfect rounds with the M4; it's heavier and swings better than the 940.

Ballistically speaking barrels longer than 20" offer negligible velocity increase.
