I feel like the growing trend in firearms manufacturers is to do what stribog did; they tried to copy the pretty exterior of the apc9 and hope none of their customers ever disassembled their gun and found out the internals were a complete fucking disaster.

B&Ts are super solid both inside and out. But all these other modern flare ups seem to be hoping that a pretty exterior is enough to entice customers to buy their shitty guns.

Exterior handsomeness of a firearm is like talk. All these pretty exterior guns like stribogs can talk, but they cant walk. Not even close.

B&T/hk/sig/sako/etc can actually walk the walk the pretty exterior is just icing on the cake. The important part is what happens on the inside.

build quality is literally the only thing that distinguishes every single gun on B&T's catalog and you just admitted that GP makes a gun with adequate external appearance and quality.

The Stribog has single handedly revitalized and made viable new roller delayed blowbacks. If anything the externals more closely resemble the UMP and the .45 and 10mm even take UMP mags - but it is vastly superior to the direct blowback UMP
Their system is simpler and more straight forward than that of the MP5 and other older HK guns.
The Kuna literally copies the bog's internals.

Stribogs also can take a FRT - Super Safety of which B&T's can not.

Basically the B&T is overpriced shovelware and you should kill yourself OP

I'd argue PCCs are even more relevant in civilian life. For military purposes they're basically useless barring a few spec ops niche bullshit. But for civilians? I'll take a APC9 with an FRT over an AR with an FRT for home defense any day

B&T is what happens when you take KelTec and charge Swiss labor prices.
To be clear I think KelTec is one of the only gun companies even bothering to try innovating, and I think it's really cool that B&T's "fuck it let's try it out" attitude translates to niche guns actually being brought to market. They make a lot of guns that really appeal to my personal tastes and sensibilities.

But I unironically think you have no hands-on time with their guns based on this post. The build quality absolutely does not translate to the price even if again: I think they make really cool guns.
A Stribog is an $800 gun that feels like a $1200 gun. An APC9 is a $3000 gun that feels like a $1000 gun.

If we're talking subguns HK and B&T are comparable. In all other aspects HK is obviously better. And quite the contrary, I feel like you've never held a B&T product and you're just talking from a number punching theoretical perspective where you're comparing the guns on a spec sheet. I compete with an SPC9 and the build quality on that thing is better than my LMT and DD rifles.

It also depends on what you want to do with your firearm. I'm an extremely high round count shooter that wanted a lightweight and RELIABLE low recoiling blowback PCC for USPSA that took all the glock mags I had and had AR controls for quick manipulations. The closest thing to that is the JP-GMR which is going for $2k, and I need to go upwards of $3.5k with the JP5 to get an equally reliable and smoother shooting rifle. I did build an AR9 that I couldn't get to work reliably enough for competition (at least not in the lowest recoiling configuration). The reality is most people put 1,000 to 5,000 rounds through a gun and call it a "high round count" test, but I put 15k through my AR9 and that's when the issues on guns start popping up. My SPC9 has now 45k rounds through it. And I have done only a field strip cleaning on it every 5k rounds give or take. Zero issues. Not one malfunction. No parts show wear or need of replacing. I was so impressed with the proprietrary lightweight bolt and hydraulic buffer on the SPC9 and it's reliability that I bought a second one in a more compact HD configuration as my bedside gun

But if you are the type of guy who goes to a flat range and you just plink away. The MP5 will seem like the better gun (minus the trigger) just based on the fact it's cooler looking (media/games) and it is slightly softer in recoil. And I'll also concede there's more collectors value on a SP5 or similar copy. However I don't plan on selling, I'm a high round count user.

I am talking about B&T as a manufacturer vs HK as a manufacturer.

I have bought and later sold both a tp9 and a gl-06 because in both cases the quality did not correlate to the pricepoint I had paid. I came to the same concousion after fingerfucking an SPC9 and opted not to buy it.
