Or rather, assembled.

The part I like is the huge amount of supply vehicles.
>The agreement covers the delivery of 180 K2GF and K2PL tanks, as well as 81 support vehicles based on the K2 MBT - 25 Combat Engineering Vehicles, 25 Armored Bridge Layers, and 31 Armored Recovery Vehicles, a logistics and training package, ammunition, and extensive technology transfer.

The part I don't like, it's that polish recipient of technology is an barely functional husk of a factory.
I'm unironically hoping that part of a deal is a pork barrel; and not a mild sabotage.

>This is the second executive agreement to the framework agreement for 1,000 K2 and K2PL tanks, signed in July 2022 by the Ministry of National Defence. The first agreement, for 180 K2GF tanks, was signed in August 2022, and to date, over 130 of the 180 tanks ordered have already been delivered. All the rest should enter service this year. The K2GF tanks from the first contract are being delivered to units of the 16th Mechanized Division: the 20th Mechanized Brigade, the 9th Armored Cavalry Brigade, and the 15th Giżycko Mechanized Brigade.

Man, the Polaks obviously understand warfare if they're going for this many of them.

Throw money at it, and I'm sure it will recover.

That's the normal thing. Localizing the steelmill, powerpack and electromechanic parts is another matter.

Worst Korea by necessity has a strong focus on bridging and engineering equipment; the North has one of the world's largest supply of those things and without them the South would be at a major disadvantage. They would have impressed this on the Worst Potatoes.

It's not even about being at a disadvantage against NK, it's just a general reality that logistics vehicles are needed in significantly larger amounts than any peacetime military would generally purchase.

Oh of course. The South's situation where they would have to deal with mass sabotage of infrastructure and transport has obvious parallels to what Russia would attempt in Poland so the RoKs decades of preparation are something Poland would want to look at very closely.

Or something no one would have even imagined of a few years ago: What the DPRK might attempt in Poland.

BTW, am i the only one staring at that last sentence in confusion that it is a realistic intermediate term threat?

I don't think it's realistic.
Unless Russia gets a state-level sponsor that happens to be China that is fully down to play WW3 games with NATO, we'll never see it.
Say Xi Jinping croaks and his successor is a dick, and his successor is a Joseph Stalin-level dick, and his successor wants to 'Pwn the west' and show a generation of Chinese boys how to be Chinese men,
you know what I'm saying

No one thought North Korean troops on European soil was possible 3 years ago but now they are Russia's Vanguard.

A DPRK division scale group threatening Poland from Belarus is not out of the question, i'd say that it is almost inevitable.

For decades now Bummer Łabędy is thoroughly fucked over by the multiple unions parasitizing the company. And today I learned, that most union members run their own business as Bumar subcontractors.
Here they are, signaling their resentment with Leopard2 shirts. Because God forbid the Koreans will force them to learn how make a tank.

North Korea is a fucking joke you annoying retard, no nork is a threat to pooland, Russia is no threat to pooland

Wargame: Red Dragon imagined it, somehow.
Though even the great prophet considered it an amusing/accidental hypothetical; the product of a few bonus Euro-style MP maps amid it's exploration of Pacific-centric visions of WW3.

Is this amount of support vehicles normal? If this is above the norm, then good on them, then they're taking things seriously and not just grabbing the shiniest toys. Also that being prepared to need a lot of minesweepers is good in light of recent events.

>Russia is no threat to pooland
Bullshit.
Russia runs a successful hybrid warfare campaign against Poland. That includes:
- arsons
- weaponized migration
- cyber attacks
- GPS jamming
- corruption of German/EU officials
- historical revisionism and russian imperial propaganda

During the start of the migrant crisis on 2021, we anticipated "polite green men" following the shitskins pouring from Belarus. The Army units were put at readiness to fight such incursions.
