i recently got the OW polydat, improved safety plunger, and their improved (non-OEM) minus connector, all NP3 coated. fwiw, the trigger by itself is no lighter than a standard glock trigger (maybe imperceptibly so thanks to the NP3 coating). it does remove some of the pre-travel though (however, not enough to defeat the safeties).

i would say it's probably the "best" trigger setup i've tried so far (that doesn't totally compromise safety or reliability). the polydat trigger shoe is nice. the minus connector does what it says on the tin (lowers the trigger pull while retaining a distinct wall unlike OEM minus connectors), but it did also introduce some slide drag which i haven't got around to fixing. the np3 coating is kind of a meme, i don't notice a huge difference between it and a worn-in glock/25c trigger job.

overall, does it make a practical difference that justifies the price and reduced confidence from using non-OEM? eh...

(btw i've used a zev kit before and it was an enormous piece of shit)

I agree, Glock trigger is fine and people who complaik about it don't/can't shoot. That being said I stuck an apex into my Glock 47 and I do like it. It's not necessary at all but it does feel like it'll be better in higher round counts due to the flat front instead of the blade of the OEM trigger sticking into your finger. The browning hi power has a 30lb hammer spring and it’s part of what made the trigger so heavy.
When I did my mod I pulled out the entire trigger and hammer components, polished all the friction surfaces, reshaped the sear to look like some pro sears and bought a spare hammer spring and clipped part of it off to drop the hammer weight by almost a third.

The gun can still shoot a chopstick across the room so there’s no weak strike .
Doesn’t mean it wasn’t a nightmare. So was putting a heavier recoil spring but I made do. Someone stronger would have finished in half the time.
