Correction Jamal's waistband after he busts out the window and steals it.
"Truck guns" are fucking stupid. Either carry it or lock it up securely at home.

That your gun would be fine, because it's in a sensible location, but that OP's would not. You know, because he is doing the retarded thing and leaving it as a lootbox drop for the first future doctor with a brick to walk past his truck.

NOT the mobile gun safe that you can bolt to the floor. had a friend park his truck during a trip. overnight it got broken into (smashed window). the thief stole the trash mobile case that had been bolted to the floor. entertainingly he completely ignored the $700 dollar camera that had been sitting in it's case on the passenger seat. end of the day the thief got off with a scrap metal box.
my friend wasn't smart enough to park in areas opportunistic thieves don't bother with, but he was smart enough to not leave his gun behind in an area he didn't know.

Dunno but make sure to have as many cringy reddit stickers on your back window as possible so criminals know which cars to smash open and which ones to pass over. Basically the opposite of painting lambs blood over your front door.

First go get an actual truck instead of that pile of shit made from light duty car parts.

If I had to do it, a small slim safe bolted to the back wall of the cab, behind the seat. People have been in my truck multiple times (I think they cloned my keyfob signal and intended to steal it but realized once they were in that it needs a physical key to start), pulled everything out of the glovebox and console, but didn't seem to realize at all that the back seat flips down and there's room to stash stuff behind it - which incidentally is where the tools that they probably would have stolen were.

Try 40, and it runs just fine. Anything past the mid 2000s is shit and owning it is one of the most extreme humiliation rituals in existence

Then buy a car. Nothing is a bigger red flag than a guy driving his light duty car parts equipped truck on the pavement 99.99% of the time. It screams poser dipshit coward.

Van, minivan, suv, crossover, hatchback, wagon, any number of things will fit your tool bucket or belt. If you had need of a truck you would know it. Because you wouldn't own one that isn't even recognized as a truck.

It's not one of those fancy digital keyfobs, just a regular remote lock thing that any decent trim vehicle has had since the '90s.

you truly have no clue what you're talking about and I'll never understand the truck guy who seethes whenever someone else buys a truck

Right you just have the name tag. No tools.
I don't like poser pavement faggots. People who choose the worst possible thing for the daily taste they can then want to give advice or an opinion on the subject like they have a clue.
Some dipshit owns a wrangler and literally never leaves the road with it? He's a god damn moron. He wants to discuss the flaws and benefits of his off road vehicles that he once touched grass with? I dont think so.

To who? You? Who fucking cares lmao

The frames and body on any truck rust away to nothing, nearly all that were manufactured are no longer roadworthy. Who in their right mind suggest anyone should daily a 25 year old car, let alone 40.

Get off the internet, anon.

not him, but I own my truck because this is what the road I live on looks like in the winter and it was the cheapest, most practical option for something with real 4WD and ground clearance. I do take it off road occasionally and use it for dump runs and towing my motorcycle too.

if you have the second gen with the 5 speed automatic you can lift the plastic casing around your electronic gear shift lever and can fit a full size handgun, but you cant do this while driving as you wont be able to move the shifter

did this once when I had to park at an airport for a month

hides the gun and stops a low IQ thief from putting it in gear
